Haha, yeah I'll admit to being in full denial mode. But mostly because I was rooting for Nicky and thought it would give Jumkie something positive to talk about for the benefit of PS as a whole.


 


I still think there is more in that bike, I don't see why HRC would have bothered if it is going to be that slow...

There's plenty more in that bike, but that wasn't what this thread was really about. The insider was just like the last insider, who had "knowledge" of the Ducati and made crazy claims for Hayden, funny how these guys make up all kinds of things that just don't make sense. I can see why Hayden's fans are so easy to troll, but seriously, the guy is done as far as winning goes. Some one brought up Rossi and that situation is different because Nicky was .... canned, Rossi left because his ego couldn't handle being number 2. 
 
In all fairness, as my good friend Arrab has pointed out recently, Ducati should be allowed at least a 200cc advantage over those Japanese factories. After all, when they were bascically ......, WSB made rules so that only Italian built ditch pumps could win races they started selling bikes for the first time in 10 years! Then some wag suggested "Paint them red like Ferraris, .... your racing heritage of silver bikes, it's about shifting units." Me cynical? Next you will be saying the AMA outlawed the Honda RS750 so that the XR750 would keep the title..............

No they didn't. It is the "beginning-of-2013"-spec HRC factory bike, without seamless box and pneumatics. They had 95% of it already on the shelf.

Honda themselves have stated is the RCV factory bike at the beginning of this season, without pneumatics or seamless box.


 


Why you have to get sarcastic/disparaging every time you are wrong, I don't know. It's a fact - it has been reported many, many times. That you weren't aware of it is a surprise - you would probably be the only person that follows GPs closely that is unaware.


 


No need to 'rolls eyes' -  you could simply say 'my mistake, how interesting'.

Oh, and grow some skin man.
 
.... the production Honda if that's what the forward racing Yamaha is doing after less than a 100 laps and the thing has only been put together in a few days and only 1.3 sec down on the leading factory Honda there is hope for some interesting stuff next season

I haven't watched AMA racing in forever, but didn't DMG make some kind of rule years ago that allowed 1100cc Buells to run with 600cc supersport machines? That makes the 200cc BS in WSBK seem almost reasonable by comparison.
