be a shame if any teams give riders team orders imo. every rider should ride to win but if they wish to help a team mate then it should be there own personal desision.

While I agree that each rider should ride to win, but don't you think that HRC should have at least told Pedrosa not to take Hayden out???

That's just silly. Does a rider need to be TOLD not to take another rider out? ANY rider..

that should go without saying when you at that level i think, he may be a rookie in motogp but he aint a rookie rider so should have known better.
imo its asimos fault not HRC,buck stops with him. i just hope he takes the flak and ends up a better more proffesional rider because of it,only time will tell. it was an isolated insident and it would be a pitty if HRC introduced team orders because of it, thats all im saying.

You've got a fair point there, and the answer is obviously NO MR.PEDROSA! Man he's going to be getting a lot of stick over the next few weeks, and it'll never be forgotten. (Especially for Hayden).

it appears none of the above (other than Kat) have actually read it ? it's clearly a joke.

HRC questioning if they have the ability to run a Moto GP team - OH PLEASE

Hey bikergirl, you think its "silly" to have to tell a rider not to take your teammate out? I agree. But the real world dictates otherwise. Its silly to have to say it but the problem is that sometimes people and racers have to be told silly things. Well as silly is it may sound, it has become obvious that this is what pedrosa needed to be told.

There has been a press release from honda saying that this letter is a fake.. News of this was on Motogp.com website and FIM web site but I'm unable to find it now.

Don't bother, its obviously fake. But oooh so real.

The grammatical error in the first paragraph rasied a red flag, "our ability to properly run our team efficiently"? Also, the fine print at the bottom of the sheet was blurred.

As far as team orders go, I think it devalues the championship not to use them. However, I don't think team orders should come into play until later in the season, if/when there one of the riders within a team has a clear advantage over the other. This is the top of the 2-wheeled racing world. A Moto GP team should be determined to win; what does it say about a team's desire if it is unwilling to actually use both of its riders?
