I wouldn't call it politics that Ivan is the official replacement rider for Dantin. He already has experience working with the team and hasn't yet been given the chance to prove himself on competative kit. I say give him a chance.

1. spanish - like dantin
2. rides for dantin in the spanish extreme racing
3. has spanish sponsors like dantin
just coincidence or more perhaps.
chaz only just finished outside the points in Laguna through no fault of his own with sproket problems and it is him who imo should be given the chance

Yeah i don't think we are looking at a rider that should be in motogp, but he was smart enough to get the ride written in to his contract so all we can do is hope Dantin thinks harder in future.

i.e. why put yourself out and do well when the ride is guarenteed anyway
