I don’t really have many aspirations for MotoGP,” Hodgson said in a cell phone conversation from his home on the Isle of Man. “I feel like I’m a Superbike rider. I’d love to get a really good factory ride in the AMA, with one of the good teams that have a real good chance at winning the title, I’d love to do that. It’s pretty high up on the priority, joint with if there was a possibility of getting a really good factory World Superbike ride.
Seems he enjoyed his stint in the States except for the part where he wanted to ride a competitive bike.

He just plain wants a ride doesn't he. Plus i think AMA is ihis second choice after the world championships because he'd get eaten alive in britain. Look what happened to chris walker yesterday.

First off, i am over the whitham thing, i don't like him but its better than nothing.
Secondly, i of course have not written him off, when the suzuki gets a tad more sorted he will win races history definately shows that he isn't a bad rider. Its just that hes never impressed me a huge amount, and i certainly expected more from him this weekend given that he is supposed to be world championship quality rider. I think there are roughly four guys out there who are better than he is. Although to be fair i think hodgeson is a fair bit better, but still doesn't change the fact that i think the BSB regulars would beat him too.
