Hi All,

I have been nosing around for some time now, and so have decided to join.. i see my mate neil is here also.. ask him about the pikeys at le mans, nice bunch!

I too am from jersey and am going to the le mans moto gp this year, the LM 24hr in june, and hopefully spain/portugal at the end of the year!!

we will have to arrange for this year.. are you going down on thu or fri?

I am taking my son matt down on the early friday boat (hd ferries 07.30) and back sunday night at 22.00..
 
We haven't decided when to go yet, I know Lee can't come because he's doing IOM and Enduro Africa, Craig isn't sure and we haven't spoken to Goggs yet but my sister and her bloke are going in fact they've booked their ferry tickets already. I'll let you know as soon as we decide.

hi fagey and welcome to the gang. its good to see the Balilwick of jersey flag. who are the pikey's ? are they a bike cub ? or do you mean pikeys as in jipo's

they are the local gypos indeed.. a lovely bunch that will steal your tent while you are in it!!

Me neil and our wimmin arrived on the thu at camping blue to set up camp for the rest who were arriving on the friday. we had a few beers etc and these threee muppets turned up later in the evening absolutely hammered and started to annoy us and not sod off when asked.. one (the dad) fell onto one of the tents so i started cto get annoyed a bit and dragged one of the others down to security.. half way there i heard screams and saw neil and my missus scrapping with the two remaining so i legged it back and just started hammering on whoever got in my way.. all three got a pasting until security eventually arrived.. on and off all night they tried to get back at us but security+dogs+cans of mace and a few other bikers kept them at bay... wikkid!!

The best thing was seeing the guy in black wandering around the next day with a nice black eye!!
