Hey guys and gals, just wanted to introduce myself. I have been reading posts for a while and decided to sign up for what looks like a fun group of people.

Hope to have good conversations with y'all.

I surely hope so. april would be an awesome time to spend time outside in Texas. Is there a group of people that gets together in Houston out of this forum?

all being well we will be there, so yep , me an my hubby are up for a meet up!

thank you for the welcome's. I like this forum because of the limited pc and people seem to be OK with that and nobody seems to be taking it too seriously.

I just moved from downtown Houston to the burb (sugar land). I am tempted to buy a bike but I have never ridden a bike bigger than a scooter(vespa). I am 6 foot tall (180cm) and a rather big boy with 227lbs (104 kg). The reason for wanting a bike is gas milage, use of HOV lanes or to go to and from the park and ride location. Having fun is part of it too. I always wanted a motorbike but always had a woman voting against (mom or wife) and in between I just never really got to it. What bike would you suggest I start with?

Libby,
You'll get the opportunity to hold and a photo op with Jorge's new Shark Helmet

Shove is the man Libby
You will have an ace time behind the scenes.
Keep your ears open and you will pick up some juicy ... bits of info too.
Push him for a garage visit, he will crumble eventually ha ha ha.

Soz Shovel ;)
