Hey, since I saw the news that Nakano will go from MotoGP to SBK.
I´m wondering about his chances to be competitive, both thinking about the new kind of bike and the rejoining of Aprilia.
So I started to wonder about this:

Do you know who went from MotoGP to SBK, and the other way around in last 5 - 10 years or so?
Is there any list somewhere, with that specific info, or does any of you have that knowledge to have a quick share with me (us)?
I know about Toseland, Bayliss & Haga, and the opposite way with Checa, Biaggi, Nakano, Laconi, & Tamada, but I´m not sure I have the time to make proper research right now. Sorry if this is an old topic.

Any comment about any rider at all would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

a few off the top of my head

WSB to GP: Vermuelen, Edwards, Toseland, Hodgson

GP to WSB: Nieto, Rolfo, Kocinski, Shuhei Aoyama, Abe, Crafar

A few have been back and forth a couple times, like Haga, Barros and McCoy.

C.Walker also did race in MotoGp with Haga in 2000/2001 and not to forget Bayliss from 2003 to 2005.

N. Hayden also did WSB in 2000 if I am not mistaken. Plus Tamada...n Fench rider Regis Laconi was a MotoGp rider before moving to WSB

Crafar was superbike first and then moved to GP

Gobert is another example from superbike.

Troy Corser had a less than spectacular season in GP in the mid nineties having won the WSB the year before. He returned to the Supers immediately after.

Rueben Xuas also rode for Tech 3 and Dantin Ducati.

I didn't know about Crafar being in WSB first. I only remember him going back in 2000 to replace Aaron Slight.

Hayden never rode in WSB, only a wildcard ride at Laguna in 2002.

That's correct. As a wild card. But still it was a WSBK race..

Smrz and Fabrizio both had unsucessful GP careers before superbike.

Leon Haslam - 500cc Shell Advance Honda, 250's, and back to WSB next year with Stiggy Honda, (I think from memory having ridden there before with Mark Griffiths Renegade Ducati squad)

Yeah, I remember Stiggy´s session in 500cc, but didn´t remember about Haslam. Thanks!
