Hi please can somebody help me?! Having been to Donnington for a few years my boyfriend and I have decided to venture further afield for the motogp this year. We are going to Catalunya whoop! Does anyone know what its like to get to on race day etc as we have turned it into holiday too so are staying a bit up the coast. Cant decide if to hire a car - does the traffic suck, is parking ok? or get the train in every day - is this a complete ball ache? Anyone know? please help

Never been there myself but if its like valencia its a nightmare.

Just book a hotel as near to the track as you can. this could be 100 miles away though

Hire a car and sit in the traffic with everyone else. Makes it harder if your taking kids, If it's just you and hubby you can leave early and kip in the car if you need to. Book tickets and hotel now though.

The only spanish round ive attended was Valencia, and no we did not pay to park. One day we parked in a field abpout a mile walk from the curcuit and on another day we parked at the curcuit itself and did not pay at either. They wont let you take cans or bottles of drink in, you have been warned.

With a car you are going to be stuck in traffic. I was there with my bike and that was quite ok but from what I've heard everyone use the train. The station is a short walk from the track and Barcelona hardly notice that there's a GP going on. It easily swallows the crowd.

Jager, it doesn't sound worth it. Save yourself the headache and drama, book a flight to Laguna Seca and enjoy GP bliss. The people will be nicer and the ride/drive/bus to the track will be easy. This year promises to be epic, you won't want to miss it.
