Judging from the way I've seen tires and favorites spelled in the short time I've been browsing around I'd guess this is a British site? Just curious.

A little bit about me:

I've been riding for almost four years. It would have been much longer as I've wanted a bike since I was a kid but personal reasons conspired to keep me off of two wheels until I was twenty-six.

I've been casually following WSBK and MotoGP for a couple of years now - I watched the Ewan McGregor narrated documentary about Troy Bayliss and I was hooked, what a great film and what a fantastic rider and person Troy Bayliss is - but this is the first year I bought the video pass on MotoGP's website; living in the U.S. it's the only way I know of to be able to watch the races. The only racing we get on the major networks is that god-awful NASCAR .........

I guess you'll be wanting to know what bikes I've owned. I'd like to preface that information by saying that I'm not a Kawasaki loyalist. Despite that my only two bikes have both been Kawasakis; the main reason being that new bike dealerships are scarce in my area and I like the people at this dealership. My first bike - and the one I still have - is a Kawasaki Ninja 650r, or ex650 for those of you who live in countries that have a more sophisticated motorcycling culture and therefore don't need nonsensically sexy names to sell bikes. My second bike was a KLX250SF that I've since sold. It was a great bike and a lot of fun but I just didn't have time for two bikes. If I could do it all over again I would have bought the Versys, the best of both bikes in my opinion, but I do love my 650.

So yeah, I'm excited about the season and I hope to be involved in some thought provoking discussions here on the forum.

Oh, one more thing; I don't know what it is but I really really really can't stand Jorge Lorenzo. He makes me want to punch somebody in the face.

There are so many Brits here that sometimes when I open up Powerslide I swear I can detect the aroma of warm beer and

Doresey Blue Vinney or Stichelton (cheese) however there are also members from Italy, Thailand, Australia, the Good Ol' USA and others as well.

So you're free to spell tire any old way you like. We all speak fluent Crazy. Welcome!

BTW - to find out when races are being telecast here in the States check out http://tvracer.com/#

That's a handy website. Unfortunately I don 't have cable or a satellite so if it's not on the major networks I can't watch it. Thanks anyway though.
