Hello (thinking of going to the Qatar MotoGP)

Newbie to the forum. From the same neck of the woods as Chaz Davies.

Been following MotoGP for a number of years now and more recently the wsbk as well.

The main purpose of joining the forum is that I thinking of going to watch the MotoGP in Qatar (but will leave that for a separate thread).

Should be a good GP in the sense that there aren't many spectators, so you'll probably get more access to interesting areas, and a better view of the track. Obviously the attendance isn't high, so it won't have an atmosphere like Mugello!

I haven't been to the race in Qatar but there are others here who will be able to advise.

I went last year, was a birthday present from my sons, we were in the main stand overlooking the garages. Don't know how we managed it (I'll ask my sons about it), but we got a tour of the pits and a trip round the circuit. The speeds down the start/finish straight are fabulous.
I'd go again, but not this year as I'm in training for a long bicycle ride.
