Hi All,
This is my first time to this forum. I am officially beginning to make my plans to come to the final round at Valencia (from California) and am looking for any help, info, that people are willing to share to help me out, so please do let me know if you have attended before!
Trying to find maps on the internet about where the track is, if there is a mass transit form to the track or should I use a taxi, and where to stay in relation to all of that.....
Any help is much appreciated!

Not thinking about it, we are for sure coming!!! I just need help on the logistics of hotels and such - looks like a lot of them are sold out, but at least we were able to get plane tickets. We have been Laguna Seca nuts for years, but have always wanted to come to Europe for a race, so here we come! See you there!

if you want hotels in europe try http://www.inthotels.com/

i've used that site to book many a hotel in cities all across europe. you might be able to find something on there so that you've at least a place to stay! good luck

Yeah I'll be making my way over to Valencia. I've never been before, Teo's just been walking me through the whole thing but I can certainly tell you what my plans are and offer any advice I can. I don't know exactly where the track is, from my understanding it's about 15-20km outside the city center and there is a train that goes from the city center to the track so that is my plan. As far as lodging goes, I think I'm going to be staying in a hostel pretty close to the city center. Purple Nest Hostel or Red Nest Hostel or something like that. From what I hear tickets are going fast so if you haven't got your tickets to the race I suggest doing so soon.

Hope I was somewhat helpful, if you have any questions just ask and I'll do my best.

are you guys meeting up then? i'm really tempted to go.. when is the race??

Hi motogpgirl, Ooost and I are going this year to the GP.

I've been there a couple of times before, the circuit is about 10 or 15 km to the west of Valencia. The best way to go is by train from the Estación del Norte (in the city centre) directly to the circuit.
On Saturday and Sunday I'll drive to the circuit, I'll probably pick up Ooost and save him a train ticket, you're more than welcome to join us, the more the merrier!

Yeah we are, I'm so stoked for it. The race is 29 October, I'm arriving the 25th and leaving the 30th. Come on Matt, you know you want to come. All the experiences you had in Assen minus your older brother and Spanish fans. Only kidding Ben.

I'm almost certain I'm gonna go too. This could be a bit of a party alright, anyone know what stands they're gonna be in? I haven't booked the tickets yet was wondering Teo where the best place to book a seat would be?

The tickets Teo and I got are in the green grandstands. We should definitely meet up Skid. And anyone else who will be there, for that matter.

The only bad place is the pelousse because it's too far away from the track, the rest of the stands are good, you can see the whole circuit (unless you're on one of the lowest rows).

The main straight stand is the best (because it's more elevated and right next to the track, but it too expensive IMO.

Ooost and I got tickets for the green stand which is opposite to the main straight.

The seats are selling out fast, you can see online which ones are available in this site:
