Hayden yes who would have thought. He deserved it so so much.

over the season mate, the consistancy from Hayden showed,Rossi had his bad luck, but so did Hayden, penultimate race, and gets knocked off by his team mate,so over the season,as the table shows, nicky and his team to be the best.HONDA !was also nice to see Rossi come and congratulate Nicky at the end.

WHOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!
Yeah Baby! Gotta luv it!
I feel bad for Rossi but as when Nicky encountered bad luck, that's racing.

Rossi will come back with a renewed intense focus for next year but for now us Nicky fans can celebrate!!! WHOO HOO!

One thing I noticed was in one of the pics shown with Nicky and his older brother Tommy was that Tommy did not look happy. I know it was a photo and it only captures a split second in time and it may have missed the joy but it just caught me as odd.

YEAH...Kentuck Kid baby!

I do think everyone knows that Nicky Hayden is the World Champion...we've been discussing it an awful lot in the Valencia Race thread.

^ Very nice Christiane I bet you are well chuffed with the result.

BTW what has become of the Hayden Forums of late? could not get on there today.

Must have gone into meltdown I guess..

^ how long will the party last? imo, should be a month-long non-stop party! orrrrr...all throughout the off-season, yay party!

Yes, congratulations to Hayden. I just wanted someone else to win the championship besides Rossi. He's won enough. I loved him when he was with Honda, but then he got on the Yamaha.

As far as the race went, I thought Nicky did a great job of coming back from disaster to ride a good race. Rossi looked bad from the start. It was really strange. He usually starts picking people off immediately, but not this time.

Congrats also to Jorge Lorenzo. He was phenomenal all year long and I really thought he deserved it.

Bautista? Can't stand him. Sorry. Go, Kallio!

Welcome to the forum.

I'd have to disagree with you about saying Rossi has 'won enough', I guess you wanted Schumacher to leave F1 after his 5 title? If you even follow F1 that is
<

I guess you're a Honda fan since you disliked him when he got on the Yammie?

I used to be an F1 fan a long time ago. A friend of mine really gets into it though, and he got tired of Shumacher/Ferrari winning all the time. He liked what happened when they changed the rules a few years ago and stirred up the pot. After a while, and 5 years is a while, I think it's nice for someone else to get on top.

Yeah it's pretty sad here in the States you hear more about a redneck running into a wall in a oval track then you do about a Nice guy like Nicky Hayden winning the "WORLD" championship. I do hope more people from the states will catch on and see the light.
