Its clear that uccio is Bob Ewell
And rossi Mayela. And the rabid dog.

Pedrosa is Walter Cunningham
Hayden was Scout
Gem was Freddie Spencer

Stoner was a kinda Jekyl and Hyde Boo Raddley/Atticus, but only after being Tom Robinson for a bit.

Other players of Tom Robinson ..... Hayden, Gibbers, Lorenzo, Marquez with Zarco doing occasional cameos at present.

Cal is Calpurnia, but just because of the name.

You can fill in the rest .....

Is Macon County in Texas.

Valentino who. That italian guy who sells hot dogs on the streetcorner? His sauerkraut is junk.

I vote this as Most Literary Thread so far in this year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Eighteen.

Oh dear. Well it is telling me something about the posters on here. Lol

"To kill a mockingbird" is only possibly the GOAT of novels.

I find the whole latest rossi vs saga just all very "To kill a Mockingbird".

Read it. Seen the film several times. ;)

When my first daughter was in about grade 8 or so, I wanted her to know what it's like to get so absorbed in a novel that you forget about everything and just read, read, read.

But what novel to use for this and how do you convince a kid to read a book?

I used 'To Kill A Mockingbird' (for sure the GOAT of novels) and I told her if she read it I'd give her $20.

She read it and it worked perfectly. She loved it.

Next I gave her Moonfleet, by J. Meade Falkner. Again, she loved it, which was great.

She said I could give her any book and she would read it and I didn't have to pay her.

Mission accomplished.

Phew salvation! You guys had me worried for a bit.

Did it "enhance" your daughters mind Max?

This is embarrassing, but despite being an avid reader and published author, I have never read it.
I have never seen any of The Godfather movies either.

I should place my hands together in contrition...

Its never too late. Probably still a good read.

I think it was one of those rare ones where I read the book then saw the movie. The movie was actually fairly faithful too.
