I havn't had time to watch the race yet so thats gonna be interesting. Managed to catch quallie and massa did hold lewis up but in Massa's defence he had nowhere to go to let lewis past.

Is this April 1st? He was taking the piss, quoting Ali G.............someone which that Crash.net "article" failed to mention.
 
Lewis Hamilton is an .....! That interview had me in stitches i can't remember the last time i heard a driver so upset. He definitely wasn't thinking about what he said. CLASSIC
 
Usually what you say when you are in an emotional rage is how you REALLY feel/think, and 95% of what you say, even joking is also how you truly feel.



The rest of the time you are just hiding it to be PC.



What has been said cannot be unsaid, careful with your words.



This is a major reason I like Rosberg. He just quietly gets on with the job and doesn't involve himself in the wrong circumstances.

I'm not convinced he really was joking, but will give him the benefit of the doubt. Either way it doesn't make the comment any less stupid and inappropriate, great for the media and the fans but terrible for himself and the sport.
 
So it only took him 4 years to pull it in F1, he used to pull it in the junior categories all the time...

Yep, that is what was on his mind. Its like when you tell someone, its not that i dont trust you, but.

I'm sure it was on his mind, but i'm sure he knows it is irrational of him to think so. I'm sure if someone asked an expert why Hamilton keeps driving into people and they suggesting it was because he is black it would be more of an issue.

At the time of saying it he added the context that he was using an extremely popular (a few years ago) Ali G joke. Since then he has also said something along the lines that the joke was not appropriate.

I can't stand when clowns pull the race card, and it sounds like he was making fun of it himself to make a point how it was absurd.



So Pov, you gonna retract?

You'd have to watch the interview, it is a tough call. I'm leaning towards giving hm the benefit of the doubt/thinking it doesn't really matter anyway. We should be happy that for once he strayed from his script and we get to see a real human in F1

And why am I not surprised. This is the same guy who said he was better then Ayrton Senna or at Senna's level in one of his interviews if I'm not mistaken, but don't quote me on this. He's a talented rider but way over his head with his ego.

Uh no, watch the interview. He is railing against officials and other drivers and not in a "joking manner" then throws out the "maybe its because im black'
