I feel Emmett/Kropo deserves his own special topic for gutless journalism of the Neil Hodgson vein.

He's most reputed for character assassination and shoddy "journalism" tactics in particular what was on display at COTA during his questioning of Marc Marquez.

Because he enjoys unfettered access to the paddock, he will crucify any rider not named Rossi, so his current favorite target is MM. In his write up of Argentina he sold the false bill of goods that MM ran Rossi off the track which just leads to the fact that he has no idea who had the corner even though MM had it. No different from his ludicrous take on Sepang 2015. He thinks MM deserved a 1 race ban for a racing incident, but did no such thing when VR kicked MM off a motorcycle in the middle of a grand prix, going as far to say MM was partly responsible for what transpired. He says nothing about Uccio's fat mouth running or Lin Jarvis and Valentino Rossi trying to hide.

And he calls himself a journalist?

Maybe of the muckraking variety.

Let's not forget he runs his message board like the gestapo would.

He won't come to this forum because he is a ..... who doesn't want to get grilled by people who don't fall for his .........

At least he doesn't invent stories (kick). He might be opinionated differently to you and a few others but hey everyone who writes about moto gp is a hack right?

He invents stories to sell to his yellow custard fanbase. No different than Hack Oxley who does the same .....

Zarco called what Rossi did at Sepang "a kick". There are many others who agree and others disagree, however, I don't think it can be proven or disproven at this point in the minds of these two viewpoints; Danyboy, can we at least agree with the point Zarco made at the press conference-- that being the gross inconsistency of Race Direction issuing of penalties? Particularly the reaction by race direction to sanction an unintentional racing incident with effectively a disqualification 'during the race' at Argentina against Marc whilst in Rossi's case waiting supposedly to review all the information 'after the race' for an obvious intentionally non-racing action (which the commentators pointed out in real time highlighting Ross's actions). Both incidents leading to crashes.

In regards to David Emmett who smugly asked his 'gotcha' questions in the press conference, it is an obvious attempt to advance his prosecution of Marquez given his ridiculous call for Marc to be suspended; Emmett must build his case, albeit on shifty sand, and paint Marc as guilty of the 'entire sequence of events' in Argentina. Emmett's logic goes, if Marc was guilty of the start, therefore he is guilty of crashing out Rossi. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you must convict and suspend. Marc stalled his bike and actually rose his hand like he was supposed to, the marshal adjacent to him lowered his board indicating there was confusion about the starting procedures (which Emmett pointed out in his own write-up) given the rules had been 'invented' (that's actually a better use of this word) just moments before. David Emmett should be asking the officials in his smug condescending way (publicly) why if Marc had violated the rule requiring a specific penalty was the action altered (which confirms the entire start procedure was in fact altered) though clearly he doesn't have the backbone to do such a thing. He should ask Race Direction why they chose to issue a different penalty than was supposedly required, giving credence to Marc's assumptions that the rules were in fact altered. As I said in the AustinGP thread, David Emmett illustrated what Jack Miller pointed out about the unprofessionalism and dubious tactics of so called "journalist". David Emmett could have started his smug question this way: "To illustrate Jack Millers point about chickenshit journalist, I shall demonstrate by asking..."

Very good of Jack to make that point. Kracpot emmett is a two face smuck! Rewind back to 2013, you will find his praises of Marc. There was this one photo on his site, where Marc had both wheels off the ground going round the top of lukey heights. I remember kracpot wrote about it with praises. But these days kracpot emmett is on the 46 payroll to help secure title 10. Between ... oxley & kracpot emmett, we have the ...... & the fuckee with oxley on top. Notice kracpot emmett is the ..... always hosting ... oxley on his site...........

The whole press conference was a ....... joke. They spent the entire time talking about a minor incident which was no worse than what happens every weekend and was certainly no worse than Zarco/Pedrosa crash.

Here is a great example of implicit (and complicit) MEDIA BIAS, of the type David Emmett is guilty of towards the so called "feud", a gross caricature, between Rossi and Marquez (which has actually been a one sided attack by Rossi, from the beginning). Notice the opposing implication of these headlines.

MARQUEZ: on one side you have the suggestion that Marquez is like some dubious politician, "side-stepping" "controversy", ooh sounds bad, that is he is evasive, being deceptive, like some snake. Isn't this the visual we're supposed to conjure? A guy that has something to hide. Untrustworthy, perhaps...guilty!

ROSSI: on the other side we have the lofty affirmation of "confirmation", a suggestion that Rossi is honest, righteous, a straight shooter. He speaks truth. He's like a good guy, sticks to his conviction. Trustworthy, he was, as the headline suggests, right all along.

It was a kick in the same sense that MM rode Rossi off the track at Argentina.

I asked him to refresh my memory on if he called for a race ban for Rossi
His response was , oh, there are different events and I responded , yes they are different events, one was a racing incident and the other was on purpose . That part didn’t pass muster I guess as it never got posted

After so many iterations of the same personality with multiple names they all start to blur. I still hold to the theory that they may in fact be cloned in a vat.

If he called for a race ban on Rossi he'd have to find a new job.

Much easier to be a chickenshit journo slob than to be an honest person.
