I came to this place needing to vent after the Rossi v Marques fiasco as I am no longer in the motorcycle industry (in California) and have no one to talk with about this but my daughter. Once I got here I realized that the conflict was very partisan and clear heads were somewhat scarce so backed off.
I've ridden on the road since 1970...!! Jesus, I didn't realize I was that old! I've owned and ridden just about every cool bike made between 1970-90 and currently ride my old BMW R100RS and Yamaha FJ1200. Spent some years working for Yamaha and have followed MotoGP and motorcycle racing since 1978, did some club racing in the day but I'm too big to be very fast (fighting weight 225), hung out a time or ten with Kenny Roberts and Wayne Rainey and generally think I know what I'm talking about.
Looking forward to some discussions with heat!
