Not really.
It actually was a tremendous ride by Rossi at PI 2003. I have absolutely no problem with Synn posting highlights of that race or praising Rossi for his performance in the race, in between races as we are. I have no dispute at all with Rossi's quality as a rider when he was 24.
Imo there have been better rides at PI, but it is an arguable matter.

Hey Dip ...., when I said you have a lot of reading to do & videos to watch to catch up. Picking a video with goat boy on the best bike in the world at the time, with a pair of Saturday night specials. It is simply not going to impress us old timers. Yeah we know about the penalty he got in that race & the gap at the end of the race. But best bike in the world with a pair of Saturday night specials. Marques ride in Argentina was more impressive! Spec tires, spec ECU and a heck more talented riders to compete against. It was your god not conceding the racing line and ....... up that race. ............
Having a decent bike may have helped.
