I may be going again this year... not sure yet. There is one hotel... the Concorde I believe that is about 10-15 minutes from the track and reasonably priced but I would definitely NOT recommend it. Nor any of the airport hotels... I stayed there in '06 and thought it would be good to be close to the track, but... Its a freakin' muslim country and there is not a ....... thing to do near Sepang track but sit in your room and watch cable... I would however highly recommend the Swiss Inn in KL. easonably priced, near everything, drinking, shopping and all the off-track events are in KL. Buses run straight to the track for virtually nothing or you can take the express train to the airport and grab a "teksi" (Malay version of taxi) from there... way more expensive and far less interesting than the buses but also way faster.
