Lorenzo, Marquez and Dovi have all won here. But Lorenzo's topped the podium here three times. Who doesn't anticipate a good scrap between him and Dovi?

Marquez due a win.
Silverstone due some rain
So far according to the meet up thread me and Danski the only ones due a pint. All others welcome.

And the prophet spaketh; MM crashes out, JLo crashes out, Dovi and Rossi fight it out and Crutchlow comes from nowhere and ALMOST wins it..but Pedrosa wrecks EVERYONE in the top 3 spots (Rossi, Crutchlow & Dovi) on the final turn as Vinales gets a win with Zarco and Bradley Smith right behind him...

So it is written, so shall it be done.

Amen.

Thats pretty much exactly how I thought it would pan out myself. Also on lap 12 Franco Morbidelli and Scott Redding will clash going through turn 9 with Redding receiving a run wide penalty, as a result both will finish behind Bautista.

The action on the track will all be over shadowed by the Karel Abraham post race press conference announcement that he will be undergoing ... change surgery and competing as a female during the 2019 MotoGP season... A smart move by Abraham who will not only become the first LGBT Grand Prix racer in the history of the sport but goes on to explain how his father always wanted a little girl, and how this strategy will help him/her secure the funding required to continue in the series for years to come.

So is this what you wanted to achieve with all the squabbling?

Well done all, well done.

Cuntslow must be due a crash as he'll be going all out to overcome the handicap of not having a carbon swingarm ala Marquez and Pedrosa and win his home race.

Prophet speaks with forked tongue

Prophet from Atlantis, Black Prince speaks......
Jack ... in the wet,99 close second,Crashlow in the hunt.
Rossi pits with engine problems.
But then who cares as long as there is entertaining racing....:yeah:

Well the weather is currently predicting a 50% chance of rain on race day, but that's not due to come in until 16:00

I know it's not really creative, but I just can't see past the occupants of the last 2 podiums

Rain won’t have much effect on the dynamic for front runners. Dovi for my money is the best rain rider, but not by much.

The battle between him and Marquez in the rain was nothing short of astounding. Dovi made passes that shouldn’t have been possible. I guarantee you will never see Lorenzo take all-or-nothing risks like that in the rain - ever.

depends, remember Marquez at Misano last year? His duel with Petrucci after they dropped Dov was pretty epic. Made pass for the lead on the last lap then beat him by over a second running fastest lap of the race.If it's wet, Marc will decide the risk vs reward as the race unfolds and where certain riders are placed. Right now he will see Lorenzo then Dovi as his greatest threat even though Rossi is second in points.None of them have a thing to lose throwing a Hail Mary in the wet , so I would expect to see Dovi,Lorenzo and Rossi holding nothing back. .

Rain forecast Sunday, wouldn't rule out Petrucci getting a first win. Certainly think he'll be up with the 3 usual suspects if that is the case. If the weather is changeable during the race I can't see passed Marquez. Already got his fall out the way this morning.

A lot of bad luck would have to befall Dovi, Lorenzo and Marquez for that to happen.
