I watched the live feed on MotoGP.com but rewatched the CBS broadcast.
I'm really embarrassed being an American sometimes. The CBS announcers were so ignorant and boring. I know that people are just catching on stateside, but would it really hurt to have those fantastic brits announce the race? At least MotoGP is getting coverage!

Anyway, Pedrosa pushed too hard cause robots aren't good at adjusting and HRC didn't have time to change the track-position-aware gearing for the wet!

Looking forward to Laguna. Casey looks stellar. Rossi was great, but should punch Elias for not moving. Oh, and I wonder if CE though it was 'karma' that he fell on his ... again.

Got to admit that I did a dance when fagdrosa dumped it. So happy that stoner didn't fall prey to the lap times that Rossi was setting cause he did have a shot at catching him there for a bit. I thought it was pretty good overall as a race goes cause the wet provides that element of mystery. Real sad to see Colin go down cause he is much better than that. CV did it again in the wet and glad to see him get his wet race for the year. It is going to get real intresting next week championship wise cause the top 3 are real close now. Still hope Danyell comes in last place every race just cause he is the ....... of the grid. Finally nice to see a race in HD though.

Well of course I enjoyed today's racing. The rain always makes it a bit more interesting!
It was nice to see Dovi and de Anglis battling up near the sharp end, future champions there me thinks.

Does Simoncelli know what a pair of scissors are?

I watched this race this afternoon, I must admit though this was the first one I have watched in a while.

Well it was an amazing strat by Pedrosa but he was pushing way too hard he had a substantial lead and should have slowed down a bit but nothing can be done about that now. Close season at the moment between Rossi, Pedrosa and Stoner.

Hopefully Pedrosa can keep it up and take the title but he has a tough challenge now behing 16 points behind Rossi.

Also hello everyone, long time no talk, not been on in ages due to working and other duties. So hello to one and all, hope everyone is ok.

No, Dani, NO!!! You have so much to live for!

Er..... Well, little feller, maybe you're on to something! You have no happiness, and apparently little hope of achieving any. By all observation, you are a miserable, vindictive, jealous, mean little twerp.
Yea, OK go ahead and take the leap! I'm sure anything is preferable to another session in Master Puig's Agony Booth.

Riders don't decelerate as much when conditions are wet, so they are more likely to reach something solid. That's pretty much what happened to Ollie Bridewell last year

Hopefully pedrosa quits motogp and sits on a corner with his monkey and organ grinder.

You think thats exceptible safety in the premier class of motocycle racing Tom ?

Couple thoughts on the race.

The usual trio was out front again even with the rain, so the rain only changes things up if someone falls.

Stoner was lucky again. The leaders in points really want him to catch up
<
Pedriosa had a good shot at extending his lead but threw it away.

Even though I really dislike Pedrosa it was aweful to see him crash like that. It look really bad. BUT it seems like that was going to happen to someone. How many riders in practice went down the same way, 3-4 I think. And it was the same story, there was no warning, I just went down. I know both Stoner and Edwards both said the same thing.

Hayden - I thought that Honda promised that the electronics would be sorted out and a tire issue on the first lap?? WTF time to seriously think about your future with Honda.

Rossi needs to improve his starts or else he is going to find himself in second or third the rest of the season. Its nice to see someone move through the field but once Stoner or Pedrosa get off they are gone and sometimes its both of them.

I didn't see one shot of Nikano, and only one of Toseland and Capirossi. Also, I didn't even see what happened to West. They really have poor producers running the show over there. There is so much action missed to show other things that are less relevant IMO.

Good to see Marco in the gravel. At least I know that he is still trying out there. Don't get me wrong, its a shame that he crashed and he was doing well.

For Laguna - I think that we will see the points tighten up quite a bit after Laguna. Rossi really doesn't go well there and Stoner is out of this world there. If Pedrosa races and does well then it will be a close championship...in the points. I still see the races as the ants marching

Its funny to see people stretching their imagination trying to find something in the race to get excited about. It was exciting but I guess I'm not that creative

The runoff and airfence did its job perfectly which in my opinion is proper safety.

Well i asked in the topic about Pedrosa's injury if anyone knows if wet weather safetey is considered. Dani was fortunate not to have been injured worse, but i think the airfence did its job and it was actually the gravel tumbling the rider which causes trouble as usual.

I thought he got off the line alot better this time, altho it was wet and then he was careful not to be taken out.

We'll see what its like at Laguna.

Ahh it's good fun throwing out the fishing rod, and waiting for the bait to bite. This place is awesome for stirring ....

Anyway as for the race, Pedrosa was playing with fire and he got burned as a result, up until then however, great riding (and was quite surprised that Stoner congratuatled him on his wet weather improvement during the interview). Stoner was solid as was Rossi, just unfortunate that Rossi got held up coming through the field otherwise we would have had one titanic battle for the win. Vermulen and De Angelis were my standouts for the race though, they were quick and pushing each other all race.

He was 5 seconds behind with like 2 or 3 laps to go when he lost 1 second by getting held up. It woulda never been close, imo.
