its where yam need to close the gap on stoner/ducati..... just gettin it out quicker

Sorry forgot to add capi and guintoli good ride from them both good to see another ducati near the front
I am undecided whether the suzuki is wasted on vermeulen or vermeulen is wasted on the suzuki; either way I don't think the bike is strong this year.

I think the ducati does have an advantage with acceleration out of the corners now that they have got it sorted but I don't think this was a factor today.

I agree particularly about guintoli and meant to say this myself also.

I wouldn't say it was a good "race", but it was interesting. Although I think a few Americans on here would have particularly enjoyed some aspects of it

No but seriously, there are so many ....... clueless, ignorant morons here that it is a genuine concern to society. And their lack of intelligence has far reaching consequences outside this forum.

How dare I blah blah...rofl.

Anyway I shall let you get back to your squabble and snigger at the ...... lives ahead for you hahaha.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pinky @ Jul 13 2008, 03:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>actually there was only one time that rossi bettered stoners lap time, around lap 5 or so, once stoner got the pit board, stoner was always faster than rossi.

He was faster than Stoner on at least 7 laps after lap 5 allthough 4 of those laps were the last 4. He lost 1.3 to stoner on the "Elias" lap (lap 25), but it was no less than TWO seconds slower than any other lap he had for the last 15 laps, while Stoner did not loose much if anything. He was slower than the previous lap but stayed on the same pace for the remainder of the race.
If Rossi got around that lap on his normal pace (low 33's) that would have pushed Stoner to keep his pace up for another couple of laps. Probably wouldn't have mattered but then again, we'll never know.

Well said that man.

On a side note, Daryl Beattie was saying on channel 10 (in Australia), that CV should have his future tied up after Laguna next week, although he didn't say what Vermeulen was actually doing.

Pretty good race, the tension of conditions like that is hard to beat. Stoner was perfect as he has been recently and Rossi rode a steady championship ride while Dani crashed when he shouldn't have been pushing quite so hard (role reversal!!). DeAngelis was brilliant to be first rookie home and Sylvain was another star who i hope to see more of in the top ten. Was slightly amused to see Rossi acting in a way that many of his fans have critisized as "arrogant" when others have done similar, but these guys get furstrated sometimes.

Can Stoner be stopped?

He is such a jerk, claiming to be a Stoner fan, yet 90% of his posts are about Rossi !?!?!?

Perhaps he is secretly in love with Rossi and it is a rejection syndrome (especially now after Rossi was pictured with a topless bird).

Do you have any proof? And dont compare it to qualifying. When a rider is lapped in a real race he must make way immediately

Stoner had 16.000 in corners rev. That is just to fast Rossi 14.000. Rossi needs more corner speed. And Stoner flies out of every corner. Don't know about Pedrosa rev.

What the hell is going in Yamaha? And Honda too...
Now those M1s look like a paddock scooter. I think they don't understand competition to serious.

16 and 20 are big gap but Stoner is very threatening.
