i'll be proven right later on when someone posts the lap times. untill then yeah you win. my ego wont hurt much. now lets talk about the great race.

i thought you guys would be all over dani by now.

but hey "thats not the point, its the principle that counts" - i love it when people say that

remember stoner did a 1.44.1 lap on the same lap when he too had to pass elias, when he was consistantly controlling the race doing 1.33.5's. i was watching the lap times

I never said he was go back to pre school and learn to read I said he lost two seconds

I can only imagine your foul cries if it had been Casey

DORNA CONTROL ROOM

Maintain gap, maintain gap

4th and fifth place bikes getting too close. Controller please turn down the power on the 5th place bike.
Good Good the gap is between 2 to 3 seconds turn back power now and please watch to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Ok controller, 1st place bike # 2 is becoming a problem. Our racing formula is being comprimised so we must act. Our overall championship points must remain close. The public must believe that the leaders are actually racing one another. We must abort the # 2 bike, I repeat we must abort the # 2 bike. Controller on my count lock the # 2 front end.

Good, Good, Now please turn the power up on the red bike.

Great now our points are more even

Controller Any more 2 second gaps being comprimised. If so please adjust accordingly.

Controller please turn up the power on the # 69 bike we must have more factory representation near the front.
What's that you have no control how can that be?
You think the factory has an override switch that renders our power control useless?
It looks like they have taken it into their own hands and turned the power all the way down already.
Ahh nothing we can do.

Race is over gentlemen. That's a wrap. Good job. See Ya next week

all i saw of haystack was him pulling in the pit and getting a new rear tyre, didn't see him after that finished last but still in the points i think. he is ironing out the bugs for next week and guess who's flying out to see it....sucker

wow what awesome tactics by stoner and ducati. to go only 11th fastes in wet warmup , allow dani to go out in the lead and be over confident and dump it. whislts demolishing rossi.

well done ducati and stoner.

Guess it's not my day. Two misstakes in one afternoon. But it feels good

Good race by Stoner. To bad Rossi had his usual bad start, if not it might have been a real fight. After all they did seem to have a psycological "close" race out there matching lap times lap after lap.

actually there was only one time that rossi bettered stoners lap time, around lap 5 or so, once stoner got the pit board, stoner was always faster than rossi.

What recording were you watching, because you obviously didn't watch this race.

It was actually your post I meant to reply to as you seem to have realised
<
.

I think they are both now playing serious mind games with each other. I take this as a sign of respect
<
. I doubt either will be successful on the mind games front. Both seem to be enjoying the battle.

I was worried that casey was going to try to keep matching valentino's lap times which were quite fast towards the end of the race, but I think he backed off for the last few laps when he had a sufficient lead; if this was the case it was a sensible decision.

i also took the lap times that it was casey wisely backing off rather than vale speeding up, learn by others mistakes, he had just seen pedro chuck it away. stoner now only 20 pts behind rossi and 4 pts behind pedro so all in all a good day at the office. quite a mature ride by stoner imo.
<

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

well i said stoner would win wet or dry so pretty happy with my prediction
<

good consistant ride from stoner he used his head unlike dani....

rossi picked up some valuable points also good ride from him...

good ride from dovizioso and de angelis..... i dont care that vermulen is a good wet weather rider... i think his bike is going to waste with him onit.....

didnt want to see pedro bin it but he did overcook it way to much...

lorenzo unlucky mate......

regardless of what you guys say imo the yamaha still lacks out of corner acceleration....its fast going in and around but needs a bit more speed coming out of it.....

its where yam need to close the gap on stoner/ducati..... just gettin it out quicker

sorry forgot to add capi and guintoli good ride from them both good to see another ducati near the front

It was really good racing by the top 4. If Rossi had a better start, it may have been one of the best wet races in a long time. They're both trying to up the psychological stakes on each other. Watching them respond to each other's lap times was actually pretty exciting to watch. In the end it was a slight victory to Stoner (in psychological terms), but Rossi can't be too disappointed. He's leading the championship by a decent margin, and although Stoner has been red hot the last 3 races, if he can keep close to Stoner or beat him at laguna, he'll be feeling pretty good about the summer break.
Dunno about Pedrosa though - he really blew it today. To me he was going way to quick at the start on cold tyres.

You are no higher on the food chain than him yourself actually. It's quite funny watching ignorant fanboys talk absolute rubbish around here though, but at the same time worries me that these people may have children one day as well

Oh and good luck in the real world, you will need it.
