Hi all Tassie rider here...where the Tasmanian Devils come from Licensed at 17 and cut my teeth on an RGV 250 riding these great Tassie roads and blowin my 750 riding mates. 26 years later I've spent time on an FZR 1000 as a hardcore biker with no car. Then found these things called "triples" and jumped on a pristine blue 2000 955i that took me to Phillip Island for 1 WSBK and 3 GP rounds over 6 years. Current steed is an 05 black Speed Triple that's taken back to the Island once for GP. 2 years back. Absolute Rossi tragic and started following these nutters in the Schwantz, Rainey, Doohan era, hence the L plated RGV... which is illegal now in Oz and probably a good thing. Anyhow, this season looks exciting and my boy the Dr is sniffing again. Cheers Muz

Nice to meet you mate, Im up in QLD myself but would love to get down to Tassie, I hear there is some great riding down there.

Schwartz was great, I started really watching GP's when Doohan was smokin everyone. The 500's where so much fun to watch, always loved watching McCoy hang it out around the track. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Biaggi get his ... kicked by Doohan. Always felt Biaggi had the view that he was the next Doohan like champion when Doohan retired. I enjoyed watching Rossi come out of nowhere and make him eat his humble pie. Rossi was brilliant and kicked off the MotoGP era with his dominance, him still being competitive after all this time is something I would never have believed if somebody told me back in 2002.

Hope you enjoy the forum, FP4 is on now then qualifying .... my night is set!

Had one guy at work who didn't even know who Jorge Lorenzo and Marquez were:confused:

I can relate to that. Hardly anyone in the US knows who Jorge or Marc are but they love the gays.

Y'all are welcome here. Just don't trust gaz, he lies. He rubs his nuts on everything.

At least they follow some form of sport ............... where I am they are more concerned with downloading movies or playing bloody web games .......... the only sport they get is going to the fridge for a beer as they class that as enough exercise
