I have just created an account and thought I would say hello and introduce myself, I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Ive been a big MotoGP follower for as long as I can remember. Last year I started following the WSBK more closely than I had in previous years. I ride a Triumph Storm nowadays, some bikes I've owned in the past include '94 Fireblade, 02 R1, 08 FZ1, '10 1400GTR.

Welcome TrumpyCraig, enjoy your time here :)  I hope you're not in the hot and fire ridden part of Oz.

Lyria,

Where the hell is the non hot part here? I want to be there instead of this humid pit of testicle sweat.

Welcome trumpy, you are part of what is a 90% Australian forum at the moment.

This will all change dramatically in the next few months as Rossi jumps back on a Yamaha and the podium, having <strike>tamed</strike> blamed the Ducati.

The sea of yellow will bubble one again, sort of like a sulphur pit.

Don't you just describe it in a charming way? Almost makes me want to be there :p Seriously though, I know it's awful, I'd rather have the snow we're being told is on the way than the heat you guys are suffering. I am hoping for all your sakes it cools off for you soon.

Yes, its been very hot here in SE QLD but at least im not affected by the fires, best wishes to those who are. No ride today, but will be strechin the legs of the Trumpy very soon. After years on Sports Bikes and a stint on a Sports Tourer, Im very happy with the Trumpy, lots of fun for what she is....love it

Just up the road from me on the Tweed.

If you are close enough to get an ocean breeze then lucky, otherwise hasn't it been hot and sweaty?

Apropos my charming description Lyria, we went to a BBQ at Uki (little village in the hills) last night and the males, beer in hand discussed ball sweat, and al analogy was produced to the effect that in this sort of weather one testicles feel like a pair of tennis balls that have chews pretty solidly by a mastiff or some slobbery dog. You know that ones that make you cringe if you play fetch with the wretched animal.

Well you enjoy your heat sweetheart and thanks for that description! It's damn well snowing here again and heavily too. There was a covering when we got up this morning and that was just the light stuff, this is the heavy band that could go on all night and into tomorrow. I will admit though it's easier to get warm when it's cold rather than get cold when it's hot, so I am better off than you guys.

Stay safe :)
