I haven't read yet to confirm but I believe that the 125 and 250 classes are coming to Laguna Seca this year. I just recieved notification from Laguna that ticket sales for the AMA Superbike races are now available and are in September, two months following the USGP.

I would love to see the other classes race here. Let's hope...

That'd be a hectic day for sure.

No no... AMA will be in September, two months after the USGP. Because of that, will the 125's and 250's will fill the USGP schedule?

Fantastic news if true! Can you imagine the 125s through the Corkscrew!!!!

I'm already booked to be there, so I'm holding my breath.

Does Laguna even have pit garages? Or should that be 'enough' garages?

All the people I know that have gone say it absolute chaos during the GP. I couldn't imagine how bad it would be if the AMA were there too. I think it's great that the 125's and 250's will come but I don't know how they will be received. On this side of the pond, there aren't alot of people that follow the smaller bikes.

i think the 125 and 250 are a major part of the motogp show and should do all the races the 800's do,but im not sure the locals will be to interested in the first season they see it, but im sure they will become hooked.
theres still the matter of,can the poorer 125 & 250 teams afford to go,it's a long way when theres only one race that side of the world.

If it does actually go ahead, I think the US crowd will go from mildly intrigued, to completely hooked during the course of the 125 race. The 250's could be much the same.
My only concern would be the missing AMA race. Moto GP and AMA together at the same meeting is a massive draw for the US public. I'm not so sure Moto GP, and what would be considered by many as support races, would have the same impact. I hope that 3 races of intrigue to a fair proportion, is enough to pack the place out.

I would love to see a full schedule, but I doubt i will happen. I'll believe it when I see it. But I'm not holding my breath.

Gotta say Jumkie, that's a really short post from you

Are you feeling ok?

This sounds brilliant. If it turns out to be true it will be excellent and exciting news, not only more to watch on eurosport for me, but also more motivation to start saving money for 2008!!

it just doesn't seem right not racing the 125s and 250s. i hope it doesn't become a trend esp if there is a second usa gp.
is ama or motogp considered the main event at laguna ?
