I'm jealous.
Sounds great on that video

aren't Husaberg kind of the prototypes for KTM?

Anyway, you made me drool

I think supermotos have the most kick ... looks! Them and naked bikes

tks, yea they sound great but id say mine is a bit louder, it has a full after market exhaust system, when im giving it loads coming into a bend and i ease off the throttle it will start barking just like a rally car.. the guy that had it before me used it for competitions

the neighbours are gonna love me

ok heres the quick history of it... it goes back to the late 80's sweedish Co. husqvarna were bought by cagiva and not all were happy with the move so some engineers stayed and started up husaberg. in the mid 90's ktm(austria) bought husaberg. the husaberg bikes are produced at the ktm factory but all the development is still done in sweden under husaberg

yep supermoto are just kick ...

ah, you went with the husaberg in the end, nice ! now practice backing it in.
<

ha ya man backing it in.. they make it look so easy on tv.. theres so much technique involved and balls of course, its gonna take me some time to get the hang of it..

how dose it vibrate? Nice enough to get your girl high, or harsh enough to mix a oil and water?

i mastered it on my ccm but not before getting spat off 3 times, sit as far forward as you can, get the weight right over the front, change down 1 or 2 gears to many then ease the clutch out, as the back starts to come out aim your foot at the front spindle motox style. just dab ya foot if the front starts to wash away and balance the power with the trottle and clutch. wear good motox boots, when i was learning the tecgnique i got high sided but my foot got caught between the bars and the tank and i got tangled in the bike. if i wasn;t wearing my alpinestar boots i would have busted my ankles for sure.
enjoy, if you aint slidin ,you aint ridin

there is vibration coming through the bars alrite but thats only when at very high rmp and high speed, its not bad though, i would have to go with nice enough to get your girl high

the seat isint very comfortable either.. i read in a review "the seat is as wide as a 2X4 and about as comfortable" the guy that wrote that got it spot on... it dose'nt bother me, i find between moving around, sticking the leg out and being up on the pegs and up on the rear wheel your too active to be just sitting there enjoying the scenery

ya thats pretty much what ive been trying.. although i was told that you can use a little back brake to control the rear when she starts to spin a little too much

ive only tried it a couple of times and made a total botch of it and almost threw myself off, you have to be so committed its scary and the fs to be my first sm style bike and a total lunatic at that its gonig take a lot of pratice but it aint going to be for the want of trying

right now im more than happy getting the front and rear as high as i can off the ground

the boots yea very important ive a decent pair of o'neal boots

yeah you can but if you relie on the rear brake it will bugger y0u up on right handers because y0ur right leg will be off the peg if you ride motox style like me.
another thing is if the rear wheel starts to bounce you letting to much clutch out. i always found it worked better if your going quite fast, if your having trouble it may mean your not going fast enough. takes guts tho and be prepared for a couple of offs. motards do crash quite well, get lever guards if you aint already got them. the ones that screw into the end of your bars not the brush guards in your picture

try it on dirt first...much easier to get the back out and happens at a slower pace to boot....
then go back to the tarmac....will seem much easier then and you will know what to expect.

personally i found it easer on tarmac, i had a lot more control. i did it on gravel and grass and it gave a very vague unpredictable feel. find a nice quite corner somewhere and just practice that until you get it , i struggled more with right handers for some reason, mabe i did use a little rear brake without realizing and thats why. its just getting the feel.

yea when you think about that it makes sense.. that the faster you go the easier it would be but as you said takes guts

im not worried bout dropping the bike it not like a shiny R1 where it would cost a fortune to repair, the lever guards are a great idea must get a set

i dont think id try it on the dirt on my bike, im going to call to a friend that has a wr426 and pratice it off raod for a few hrs just to see what the difference is on either surface
