Read it on a blog from a Spanish reporter who’s always traveling around with the MotoGP circus in the paddock… Not all are latest news (July 10) but:

1.- Hopkins signed with Kawasaki. Kawasaki is looking to place 3 bikes.
2.- There’s one free Susuki for sure.
3.- Lorenzo goes to Yamaha.
4.- Melandri does not stay at Honda.
5.- Capirossi may not sign with Ducati.
6.- Dovizioso leaves 250cc.

So basically the only one not read somewhere before is: Kawasaki is looking to place 3 bikes!

Its got to be Honda, he would have switched to Aprilia if Honda didn't offer him something he really wanted.

Interesting. Who do you think they will nab?

My guess is Hopkins, Capirossi and either Ant or Randy depending on who looks better for the second half of this season.

I agree ... If I was either of them I'd be making sure I didn't crash too much over the next few races!

Randy really can't afford to crash again this year. He has shown some promise this year but injuries are killing him!

Westy needs to keep improving. If he lucks in with a wet race or two and has some good results and continues to improve the way he has so far, I'd put a few $$$s on him getting the ride. I might go and check the odds with the bookmakers!

If they are paying $2.7million squid for Hopper, they will also have to pay significant Euros to get Capirossi ... I think they would get Ant for very few dollars - he would be a good bet at a bargain price (cheaper then de Puniet I would think ... probably by a long way). Besides ... why not have a wet weather specialist in the team?! We have had quite a few wet races this year! Let's face it ... he has won as many MotoGp races as Hopper!

I'd better stop raving ... I think I'm turning into "Antfan"!

"Maybe this will be the start of us using wildcard riders more in the future or, possibly, running a third bike full time in the championship next year."

Mike Bartholemy talking about RLH Laguna ride. I'd say thats a pretty big hint about next years plans. They pretty much admitted RLH got the ride as Kawasaki wanted the exposure, so I doubt he'll get anywhere near it next year.

I think Ant would ride for food and accomodation

MCN UK is reporting he is going to either LCR, Gresini or Konica Minolta...however, it is more likely that he will get his own team...

MCN Uk also report DeAngelis is moving up to MotoGP to either D'Antin or Tech 3.
