<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Orrmate @ Feb 6 2007, 11:59 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Same reason as Pedrosa, hes been nurtured too much. Ron Dennis was too protective of him at McLaren. I don't know him personally, and neither do you, so neither of us can be 100% sure of his attitude. But from what ive seen, when he wins he rarely shows any emotion. When he loses he starts punching marshalls (something that REALLY pisses me off).

Sorry Nica but you're contradicting yourself there. You just said earlier on a driver shouldn't be happy with second, but yet when Kimi does it it's ok. Because hes Kimi. No its not ok, not in my opinion. He should be aiming to win.

All his career up to 2006. Its just this last year I saw a change in him.

I think being ''nurtured'' and being protected aren't reasons to think he's arrogant. It's true he doesn't show too much emotion, but that surely isn't a reason to think he's arrogant. I can remember he pushed a marshal, but people shouldn't overreact. He clearly was pissed (I guess he does show emotions then..) cause he had another car failure. I'm not saying that's a reason to push someone, cleary it isn't, but I guess he's human..if you have yet another failure and someone is putting his hands on him (to help him I suppose) right after he got out of the car I can't blame him for thinking ''get the F out of my way!!

Ow, I dont think I was contradicting myself. I know what I said. It's true that you should go for 1st place and not be happy with 2nd place, BUT if you don't have a car to win, if you have a car that's not competing with the front runners, then I think ending 2nd ain't that bad after all. I mean, if MS ended in 2nd place in a race last season, I didn't exactly expect him to jump up and down like he did the best thing ever. It's all about what's in your reach. Fact is that Mclaren didnt have the car to win last season. In that case it's only natural/logical to not think about winning every race. Kimi wasn't in that position, to challenge for wins like the FA and MS.

I guess it's never ok, right? Let's be honest. People say someone looks arrogant cause he didnt smile or looked happy with 2nd place. If he was happy with that result, it would be..''ow, he's happy with 2nd place, and he shouldn't..bla bla''.

I never said it's ok ''cause it's KIMI''. No way man. who said that?? cause that person must be crazy..

Maybe it would be nice if he showed (more) emotions when he won or finished on the podium, BUT it doesn't mean that he doesn't care...

People jump to conclusions way too early and way too easy..that's what pisses me off!!!!

I like Kimi the way he is..sure he's not a MS (that guy was always soooo happy when he won a race)..and sure he's not a FM who shows his tears (which is great) but I don't support people for those reasons. I like Kimi the way he is, I hope he wont change. He's fast and he doesnt care what other people think of him (maybe that's being mistaken for arrogance).

I don't think he's arrogant, he wants to win, if he doesnt, then it shows, and it should!!
