Tire management seems to be yet another factor that has been removed. Guys are often times doing their fastest laps towards the end of the race. Either the riders have very impressive skills at riding on worn out tires, the tires are just that good that they last, or the electronics system is assisting in both the longevity of the tire and its performance towards race end. Most likely of course a combination of all three. I still want to see a spec tire.

When i come to think about it the electronics developement will probarbly overshadow bad tires too.The tires would have to be really bad in the end, almost completely melted if there should be any difference in a few years.
So some kind of electronics restriction is probarbly needed.I don't know how tough.
One good thing about not changeing the rules too much though,is that eventually every factory is going to reach the limit more or less. They will hopefully in the future be as equal as the 990 bikes were in 2006.
