you probably don't understand sht what the link says, but just for the pictures! little translation+summary below

Racesport was able to tell us that carl foggarty rode on the petronas today in assen at the new track. they just happend to be around the assen track when they heard that foggarty was there too (yeah right..
<
) he was riding there for the magazine MCN, who will write an article about this happenin.

the opinion of foggarty on the new assen track was the main thing why he drove there today. assen was one of the most favorite tracks of fogarty. Racesport.nl can't give away that much what foggarty thinks of the new track, but they think he's not that positive...

----------------------------------

I'm realy curious what foggarty thinks of the track!! so please fill me in when you read this article in MCN!

ben if this is in the wrong section of the forum (I was doubting to place this in the news section...) please remove it!

If Foggy don`t like it we`re bound to hear about it. It will be intresting to see if he can ..... about somthing without mentioning anything to do with MotoGP though

Or Neil Hodgson and Ben Bostrom.

but he was always such a quiet polite fella... He won't say anything if he doesn't have anything nice to say..

Enlighten me, Ooost. What did King foot-in-mouth Carl say about these two? I usually ignore him unless his says somthing really really cocky, stupid, or just plain annoying.

from racesport.nl again:

After foggarty had made some rounds on the assen circuit, the site heared that a van from the foggarty petronas racing team with the 2 bikes in it, had an accident on their way back home to england.

On the highway A28 near Nunspeet the van hit a truck and slipped of the way and hit the verge and some trees. The 2 mechanics who were in the van are OK, one has light injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The van and the 2 petronas bikes are heavily dammaged.

go to http://www.nwvfoto.nl/ and then 'Hulpdiensten', the second album from the left, to see some photo's of the accident.

In 2001 Foggy, who at the time was a consultant to Xaus and Ducati Corse, made a statement that Bostrom would be going much faster and winning more races if he learned to stop sliding the bike and keeping it in line. This was just after BB won five in a row from Misano, Laguna Seca and Brands Hatch.

And I forget what he specifically said about Hodgson, they've quarralled since they were teammates at Ducati. But if I remember correctly, I believe he discounted Hodgson's 2003 WSB crown because there was no real competition or something of the sort.

I wonder if he knows that no one likes him?

He just puts a lot of crap on a lot of people. He`s not like Biaggi, who only puts crap on people to try and make himself look better, but Foggy takes regular stabs at MotoGP because he runs a SBK team, He said Chris Vermulen would be beating Rossi in a few years because CV was "the best rider he`d seen since himself", he said he was better than the now deceased Barry Sheene in his Autobiography, according to the likes of Neil Hodgson (Who also has copped .... from Foggy) he was a real ....... of a teammate, dominating mind games to the max, Like Ooost said, he took a stab at B Boz when he was on a winning run, and at the start of this year, he said that in his almighty King Carl opinion, Edwards had lost the edge. The guy who came 4th last year, teammate to Rossi, Podium regular that year, king of consistency, and now this year winner of the BMW M award thing, got a Podium and almost won a damn race. Sure, he aint the best rider in the paddock, but I doubt someone who has lost the edge could do all that. Don`t get me wrong, in his time, Foggy was a great racer and did a lot for the popularity of WSBK, but I think he`s also an ....... who talks crap about a lot of people.

I was probably to young to have noticed these things in the days he was riding. I only heard good stories about him and I always loved his eyes in his helmet, always full of fire, and the fact that he has his own ducati IN his house
<
didn't know these things richo, so thanks
<

but I still like the dude

That`s cool.

I`m no Foggy fan, though. But I didn`t know what his helmet looked like or that he had a Duke in his house either.
