Moto 3 I'll be watching Maverick, the kid is something else, Moto2, will be Redding and Crazy Joe.
Motogp, it's going to be a joy watching Jorge take the title back and watching Spencer's head unravel again with the pressure of being beaten week in week out.
And yer favorite piece of literature is Cinderella.
Errrrrr, no. But I am reading a book on repairing cheap watches. Might be handy for HRC in a few months.
Pete
I'm a MotoGP fan for 2 years so I dont know a lot about the guys, Respect all of them but since I started to watch the sport I have found interests in the following riders:
1) Casey Stoner: Like his hard competetive and aggressive manner on the sport. Got to love and respect his riding style. He rides the bike so beautifully and is a lot fun watching the sport when this guy is around specially when he is riding the Honda.
2) Valentino Rossi: In my opinion you just can't ignore the talent and the greatness of this guy. I also like his badass style, his high reputation and the fact that he is so relaxed and calm and his hard work on the Yamaha.
3) Ben Spies: He is a cool gentleman and a very talented rider. Many respect for the guy.
4) Collin Edwards: Funny, cool and a relaxed dude who seats on his bike shuts his mouth and rides on the track.
5) Jorge Lorenzo: Smooth, consistent and a highly talented rider which I respect alot but there are some disturbing things in his personality that reminds me of a ...... I hate in the soccer world (Christiano Ronaldo)
6) Dani Pedrosa: I like this guy more than other riders. Like his fast and on the edge riding style, When it is his day on the track he is so spectacular to watch. I also like the way he puts his heart for the sport and the developement of the Honda, eventhough he is unsuccesfull catching titles after 5 years, and by the way there are some points in his personality that I find them cool and a lot of them is because of the place he was born (Barcelona) and I also find them in many of the athletes from there (Barcelona Soccer Club).
Like I said before I'm new to the sport so I don't know the guys a lot but I have mentioned the way people don't like Dani Pedrosa alot. Besides the 06 accident and the Puig thing is it really something wrong with the guy or his talents in comparison to other riders? Because if you see his result the only negetive thing about him is not having a MotoGP title. I would be very pleased if you give me some information about what is the reason a lot of fans hate the guy. and by the way what is the wrong thing about Puig? He looks like an annoying ... but is there any specific reason?
سلام Sa.lam Cobra, and welcome to the nuthouse.
There is a lot of mindless banter here, but if you're seriously interested in MotoGP, you will get a lot of interesting stuff, from guys who generally know what they are talking about. Also check out the site of our resident philanthropist, at: www.motomatters.com
Regarding Dani;
1. He's not Rossi, so the Rossi fans hate him
2. He's not Stoner, so the Stoner fans hate him
3. His evil keeper screwed Nicky (probably the second most liked guy in MGP), so most fans and particularly Americans hate him.
4. The Spanish like a flamboyant showman, so they prefer Lorenzo
5. He's small, and shy, so cops .... for no being an extrovert.
6. And a lot of people think he got fast tracked to the best seat in the house, in preference to a lot of other good riders (other fans fav riders), and he hasn't delivered.
He's not my favourite rider, but personally I really like Dani, and have a lot of respect for the guy.
None of the people that bag him would ever have the balls to ride one of these monsters on the edge, or get back on after one has tried to kill them. Dani will win races this year, and is probably still the 3rd or 4th best rider in the world. Not bad for a fragile little dude, who has suffered massive injuries.
You keep supporting him, and when he wins get on here and let everyone know......
And PS... I hope .... gets better for you soon in Tehran.
Tehran is the same ..... It won't change, We even dont have the permit to ride bikes above 250 cc in the streets. but thanks any way
unfortunately the things you say about Iran is right, Well we have been sorrounded by our politicians ignorence, It has been with us for centuries and Me as an Iranian have to say the reason we have these problems come from the way Iranian peoples attitude is towards their countries developement. They act like they dont give a .... about what happens to them as long as they are not starving to death.
Enough politics, I really hope that I can get a ride with one of the big 1000 cc babies you ride to school or college. I have a Honda CG125 (1979 model), actually its an iranian version with a chinese engine and its even more shittier than the old Japanese version. These ......... are still continiuing to build the stupid ........ bike after 30 years with different brands and engines. My dream bike is a Honda CBR1000 fireblade so I have a very long way to go
hey i ride the same engine as you on my way to college ,no 1000cc in the budgetat least its far more reliable (even the lifan produced engines) than a modern superbike!

I now have 1441 cc, and would be quite happy to lend you one cylinder ( 360cc). Would that help you a bit?
ps. Welcome aboard. I too am curious about life in Iran, but perhaps you could elaborate in "the lounge" . Are you able to speak openly without fear of being traced?
