Mines the first race, those last 3/4 laps were superb, what a superb start to the season! Sete & Rossi swapping paint on the last bend

Quality.

Bring on 2006

I think it was Malaysia, where the mighty Kawa got 2nd, and if Shinya's bike had worked it would have been a 1,2 for the green team.

Teo do you mean China where OJ got 2nd place?

My favorite moment was the start of the USGP when the singer messed up the American Anthem and said "Oh My God!". Everybody was like WTF?!?

Other than that I would have to say my favorite moment was the Jerez race with all the lead changes. Second favorite is the one where Hopper qualified second.

Red Bull USGP for me, first GP in the US in 11 years and I got to be there, pole, lap record and win for Hayden and a 1,2 brought home by Edwards. That was by far my favorite. But take away my home round I think Mugello was an exciting race with the four Italians battling it out for home glory. The showdown for the best of the rest at Valencia was great, Hayden vs. Melandri was a terrific display. So many great moments in 2005, I hope 2006 picks up right where we've left off.

I got to go with the USGP too, like Ooost said we waited a long time for it and it didn`t dissapoint.Loved seeing the Ducati taking it to them and winning too.

Has to be Laguna for me too. Although Jerez was more exciting, like ooost said Laguna was highly anticipated, i love Laguna Seca, i feel like ive been there before ive played it so many times on the paystation, its THE most amazing circuit in the world- so unlike any other.

And Laguna hit at the right time for the US after the F1 disaster, it was a breath of fresh air, i was so pleased for the US that they had a yank one-two, it continued the american domination at Laguna, it gave Nicky a dream-come-true-weekend, we saw both anniversary Yams on the box and Colin did it for me even tho he didnt win, he summed it up when he said "for me OR nicky to get our first win, either way it was great"

I was happy enough to see Rossi getting passed at the top of the corkscrew by edwards- that showed that Rossi is human and that it took him more than a weekend to learn Laguna.

Laguna was definately my highlight of the year.

I agree with Ben the last 3-4 laps at Jerez were bloody brilliant!!!!

Sete's face pulling everytime he crashed and headshakes provided some entertaining moments throughout the season for me.

Nicky's win at Laguna that was so commanding.

Capirossi's 2 wins with Ducati.

OJ's awesome 2nd place at the flooded Shanghai circuit.

Melandri breaking his duck with 2 wins also.

Some great qualifying moments for Hopper too.

Toby and Julians commentry and in depth knowledge always has me hooked too.

that was quite funny. i was right across from where that clown was singing... classic ! laguna was def tops for me. being there the race the entire weekend was awesome. as for the rest hmmm... i'd have to say pi. the rossi hayden, checa melandri battles were excellent. def jerez...that last lap pass burned into my brain ! oj in the rain in china... brilliant stuff................is it spring yet !!!

mine would be the TT, I loved every moment of it!Can't wait for next year.. I also think turkey was pretty awsome

The last corner of jerez is realy a moment to remember. also one of my favourite moments are the moments with sete and his dramatic finishes and all the hopes I had he would do better next race!

Add another vote for the USGP. First GP race i ever been to, and next year i'll be in the paddock suites.

The best "moment" was nicky coming around on the victory laps one with the american flag and one with his father, Earl on the back, while i watched from the world famous cork screw of laguna seca. You could feel the emotion in the air.... breathtaking.

Aside from that, I'd have to go with Biaggi almost falling on his head after trying to hit Melandri lol

i like the way the yanks still together

always makes me laugh instead of being honest ha well nothin new then hey
<
im a brit so it gotta b donington the way a true genius carved his way through the field
<
that being said jerez and mugello for the ovious gud fun and racing
<
c yer nex year wen the true action starts...

I didn't think the USGP was all that exciting. There wasn;t much fighting shown on TV so it seemed like a boring race although I hear the battles in the back were amazing. Its nice to see two Americans on the podium but I really really just wanted to see Hopkins stick it to others which he sort of did.

Noone ever passes John in the corners (except the Doctor in Valencia but he is no ordinary man). John always gets passed by the superior power of the Hondas, Yamahas, and Ducatis.

DAMN GSV-R!!

Last corner at Jerez was it for me, I think the season faded a bit after that in hind sight, never quite lived up to the expectations after that 1st race.

Thought the 125 racing was some special this year, specially liked China 125 was so much like Jerez last corner was superb

250 was not so hot till Loopy got going should be good next year though. Watching Pedrosa is a bit of a bore

This is my first forum reply so Hi all

Fave moments for '05... jeez
First is definately OJ's rain dance in China. 5 more laps and he could have beaten the Doc himself. And seeing the ducks reaching 340 kmph in Shanghai, IN THE RAIN! and F1 is proud of 320 on the same straight!
Seeing Melandri and the Kentucky Kid take their first wins was great. Those two are the real future of motoGP
Ducati winning in Japan. Now THATS sticking it up Honda big time.
Even though I'm an Australian, Casey Stoner's crash at Philip island was a case of "What goes around comes around" He was trash talking Dani to the max before the race. He deserved it. And then the factory Aprillia bike taking to the skies over his bike and not crashing.
Rossi's effort at Valencia deserves praise. 15th is a long way down the grid to get to the podium from. While I'm not a mindless Rossi fanatic, I gotta admit that kid can ride.
Sete's solution to the Rossi win streak: tearing up pole after pole in qualifying was so much better than Biaggi's whinging (He got a factory ride and Erv Kanemoto, and he still complained!?! No wonder they axed him)
The US motoGP was somthing special. Those yanks sure get territorial. And Yamaha looks better in yellow.
