The video is short, but in his day Freddie was the man. That 1984 NSR 500 two stroke was a beast. I do not think most of the current MotoGP grid could handle these monsters, especially since traction control was decades away. If my memory has not failed me that is the legendary Erv Kanemoto holding the bike for Freddie.

Man that's quite impressive how rapidly he was making up time, particularly at the end where it was a bit easier to tell.
