At least two glasses of hot water, drink it up, then splash some warm water...that should help too.

Thanks Damn. The bars close here at 2 am in the US. So I've stopped an hour ago but to close out the night I had two shots of Tequilla with a buddy. I'm still spinning.

Say something about Hayden, another person says he isnt champion bla bla, Jumkie says 5000 word post. People respond and it turns into a super long debate.

Its pretty pointless now.

I personally dont care, because it adds spice to the topic (although it makes many go off-topic) and gives people a reason to get on.

The one thing that bothers me is when I get a PM saying someone here was offended by the posts.
I dont know whose post it was and I'm not going to say who sent it to me, but please, keep it cool in these discussions.

and i think haystack is a great rider and a nice bloke,just because he races in motogp deserves my respect. pig farmer to motogp worldchamp is no mean fete.
burky made a good point when he pointed out that all age groups and cultures talk here,so we all have to put up with comments we may feel are stupid,but it may be that we dont quite understand what the person is trying to say, it's just good entertainment for me,so "face not bovvered"

Though detail of complainant is understandably confidential, may I point out through lively discussion both myself and 'jumkie' were subject to personal insult. I do not believe either myself nor 'jumkie' raised any such complaint. I am aware that we both gave detailed and reasoned response in good humour, for my part I gave a great deal of effort to make responses interesting and amusing, without sinking to personal insult.

I am now extremely concerned to discover vindictive behaviour toward myself. I build and publish my own website, and have access to all input, and am somewhat dismayed to discover several entries on my website poll, all from Romania, rating my website as poor! These were the first of such entries, and have been removed.

I await your response.

Burky, mate, I don't think CapSnow set out to slap you boys on the wrist. As he said, he couldn't see anything too wrong with this discussion. The thing is, as moderators, we're responsible for keeping the atmosphere on this site friendly and open. (And without sounding egotistical, I think you'd agree we do a pretty good job)
Part of that involves taking action when someone feels offended. Obviously everyone's different, so what offends one bloke won't offend the next. And that's where it gets complicated. I can see that your posts were meant in good humour, but without the advantage of face to face discussion, it sometimes becomes hard to discern what's said in good humour and what's said in spite. In my experience as a mod, cultural diffrences magnify the diffuculty.
When someone notifys us of a post they feel is inappropriate, it's our responsibility to check it out and take action if we feel it's nessecary. What I think CapSnow is trying to say is to just be a bit more wary. I mean, good humour is great, but when someone takes offense, it can turn ugly. We're here to diffuse potentially ugly situations. If you see our actions as vindicitive, you're more than welcome to take it up with us and we'll do our best to rectify our behaviour, if we deem it as inappropriate. We're just trying to keep the peace, mate. I'm sure you understand

And as for your website... Well, maybe there's just a grumpy Sete fan out there with bad taste who happens to be in the same country as Capriex and Mike.
