posted on another site, very sad

Wow, they are all worth watching but sad in the fact that they all died. Poor Jacques must be petrified before each race knowning that his father died as dramatic as that!

If I was a driver who saw it happen at the time I would of got out of my car and of helped him somehow, even if I would of lost the world championship from it.
The one where the man get's run over two looks as if he flips through the air about 4 times and get's chopped into half!
I also didn't know that Ayrton Senna died in a crash, why the fucxk didn't anyone come hlep him straight away?!

Theres also been a lengthy court battle with the Williams team after Senna died.

But notice it was more dangerous back then in the old days, the run off areas and the safety of the cars as come on in leaps and bounds since then.

I guess you were only 2 when Senna died

Shows you what an old git i am ...

So I take it Gilles Villeneuve died at the track that was named after him?

Thats the Montreal circuit in Canada off the top of my head, I could be wrong.

But the Belgian GP claimed his life.

wow...that's some horrible stuff..It does say something for the safety and technology advancements since 1994.

F1 is a lot more safe now than it used to be (coming from a young one), even I know that. It was Imola that Senna died at too.

My first contact with racing world was through F1 ( on TV ).me and my brother watched every race. As my brother was a huge fan of Senna..i was cheering for him and became a fan myself ( even though i had only 6-7 years old). I was 7 years old but I remeber that race...that day! I watched the race..saw the crash..but i didn't realized what happened there as I at that age i was thinking that he was invincible no matter what happens. Later on my father told me Senna died in that accident... I cried...and i first realised what death really means...
People had to die so today races be safer..Sad.
