F1 - Britains - Silverstone Predictions

A

Alex

Silverstone is now less than 2 weeks away and I can't wait. Who do you think will finish where, and what do you think will happen in the race?

I predict:

1. Fernando Alonso (for a change)
2. Michael Schumacher (get stuffed)
3. Kimi Raikkonen (come on son)
4. Juan Pablo Montoya (Mclaren 3rd & 4th)
5. Giancarlo Fisichella (Renault blow)
6. Jenson Button (home man)
7. Nico Rosberg (good lad)
8. Ralf Schumacher (kill your brother PLEASE)

I predict 1 retirement and that of Takuma Sato in the Super Aguri.

Anybodys call I guess..

Hey predictions for retirements is pretty difficult.

I predict

1) Kimi

2) Alonso

3) Montoya

4) Webber

5) Barrichello

6) M Schumacher (as he will do somthing stoopid again)

7) Coulthard

8) Button

I quit predicting this because it's always the same. I always say I want JB to win and then he breaks or finishes 12th and then Schumacher or Alonso wins.

You guys know how badly those 26,000 hp F1 cars tear up the Silverstone surface? Makes it kinda hard for Bayliss and Co. when the Superbikes come to town.

You being a Bayliss fan shouldn't be complaining. He could ride on a gravel trail in the middle of the woods on that 999R and still win. Given no one else would have the balls to do it but if they did Bayliss would still beat them.

Seriously though. I`ve read that the surface at Silverstone gets absolutely shagged by F1 cars. Makes it harder for anyone, from Bayliss to a BSB rider to an average track day rider. I don`t know why it is, but it just seems really bad at Silverstone. Maybe it just needs a good resurface.

The track doesn't get completely torn up, but still it's not that good for the bike riders to race on straight after the race. They've got the money to repair it easily and quick enough so it isn't really a problem. Besides, the track isn't too damaged anyway.

That`s not what bike journos and racers who do tests there say. Maybe you poms are just used to cobbled roads

I think it's anyone from Kimi to Alonso to Schumi... unless of course Schumi has to pull off another sensation... but have to watch out for guys like Webber, he was really something in Monaco until his car failed him...

Webber isn't a threat, that was basically a one-off.
The main contenders to win are: Alonso, Schumacher, Raikkonen, Montoya, Fisichella and Button.

I'm sorry but Button doesn't have a chance, and I don't McLaren are really fast enough either.

It's gonna be Alonso or Schumi, and then Fisi or Massa.

Fine, you bet your money on McLaren and I'll do it on Renault and the cheating horse, sorry I mean prancing horse.

Renault are the main contenders here... but Kimi ( if he has't bad luck as allways) might have something to say to Aloso. And there is always Shumaher..
IMO:
1.Alonso
2.Schumaher
3.Kimi

2 and 3 might switch...

1) Alonso. Hardly surprising
2) Schumacher. Improving
3) Montoya? Seems consistent

13) Jenson, after his pitmen have done a rubbish job again.

I've changed my mind:

1. Monteiro
2. Montagny
3. Sato
