Thought it would be interesting to see how much some of the bikes have improved since round 1. Looks as though Yoda san was right, the Kawasaki is right on the Ducati in the power stakes. Rossi was 13kph down in Losail and topped the session. The Roberts bike is chugging along at roughly the same pace.

Ha, I saw you in FP2, running out the back to post. No wonder you don't do as many laps as everyone else in practice, you're always on here!!

man, i forgot to log in. if you don't log in, the "ignore user" function doesn't work.

i was wondering why there was so much crap in this thread.

much better now.

Both Kawa and DePuniet are constantly improving their performances this year. I say Kawa is the best surprise this year.

Negative. Look at Nakano's 06 qualifying runs. The only thing improved about the Kwak this year is the rubber on which it rolls imo. If they had a half way decent pilot they could be posting some serious results. Unfortunately, Nakano fled.

Hmm.......Nicky is up to the usual. "Yeah. I'm working hard blah blah blah trying to get the race set up blah blah blah. I've got a few settings I've found that we can use on race day. Blah blah blah blah"

Translation: I'm scrubbing up new Michelins and burning up my least favorite race compounds. Don't ask me about my pace until after qualy when I actually get to ride what I want, thanks.

<
Nicky as development stooge is hard to watch.

Hasn't been any racing yet. We'll see on Sunday. This season Michelin hasn't failed to look somewhat decent in the practices and qualifying then suck horribly on race day.

Hi Phorest. Yeah, no ..... But you would think Valencia just finished the way some are carring on. Jeez, lets hold the mindless cheering for the post race thread, eh.

Yeah, no doubt. Things have a tendency to change when the lights go out for race time.

CSCVAW is about to go on my ignore list, Casey Stoner's woman or not!

johnny was that a serious question? there is always a fp3 unless bad weather or accident or something were to cancel it.

Am I losing my mind here?
That would equal 4 hours and 20 minutes of setup.
Isn't it usually 3 hours 20 minutes
FP 1
FP 2
QP

Looks like this race will be held at a different time than usual.
The 2 hour difference has thrown me off
Great for me I can actually sleep in on a Sunday

as stated above fridays usually consist of 2 Free Pratices, on friday then a saturday morning free practice 3 then qualifying... warm up is only 15 mins before the races so no nothing unusual

[DISGUSTED RANT]
Can I ask how old you are? Gotta be a schoolie right?
Do me a favour? pretend your a fan of another team or rider and then read your posts.

Arrogance is ugly and shows a lack of class.
Not to mention the fact it's reflects badly on yourself, your hero and your country.
[/DISGUSTED RANT]

Now back to racing.
Looks like tyre performance and bike performance is very tight here.
We should be in for a great race.
