I think he doesn't have a bloody excuse this year! This is his win all or lose all year in Moto GP, wi nraces and win the constructor's for Yamaha then he's gonna be there for years to come, be like last year and he's gonna be out of the team and Jose Luis Cardoso is going to replace him.
I do think he's got what it takes to win and really do think he will, maybe only 1 or 2 but that's more than last season!

I dont think anyone deserves a win unless they earn it. Personally I am growing weary of C.E. making a liar out of me. I keep saying he is underrated and he in turn keeps producing mediocre results. I think if he doesnt produce some results this season may be his last.

He's got the talent though! Button had a win in F1 last year which he didn't deserve from his previous races, but in that race he drove brilliantly and luck fell his way - it's not every day that Alonso & MSchumacher retire from races with mechanical problems! It's Colin who's most likely to have the problems though.

I think its Rossi's year at laguna.
Then Edwards.
Infact i think the Yamahas will do real well in general this season.
They are both going really well and apart from the lack of top speed the bikes are working pretty nicely too.

I can see Hopper getting frequent podiums this year but not a win. There's simply too much competition at the top (Rossi, Pedrosa, Capirossi, Stoner, Hayden etc) and the Suzuki needs that little bit more to beat the other bikes. I wish him luck though!
I am disappointed that Edwards has not performed as well as some of the other WSBK riders. He was a WSBK champ after all. I am inclined to blame it on his bike, the Yamaha that has been designed just for Rossi.
