I wonder how this 250 kids-Lorenzo and Pedrobot perform in WSBK. Well Max Biaggi is a 250 rider, but now in his third Year in WSBK and yet to see him as WSBK champion...
Americans usually come from a dirt background, which usually suits the superbike style of a bit of rear tyre sliding, and therefore used to translate well to the 500s and the 990s. THe 800s are a different story. In contrast, the 125 and 250 guys, usually coming from Europe and Asia, adapt to the 800s better than they would the 500s and 990s. The 250 guys who had no experience with the 500s and 990s would have some trouble with the heavier and less nimble superbikes. As for Max Biaggi, hes a talented rider but i think his days of being a champion are behind him.
