What a disgrace this bogan is ............. where is his personality really ............. how dare he be enjoying himself whilst others are left to lament a season that could have been.

A small video of Jack Miller coming into the pits at race end ......... nice stoppie and bit of a food fight

It is so bloody refreshing to see this kind of thing given the BS we have had to put up with for the last few weeks - the more I see and read of Miller, the more I like

Good video Gaz. But I'm just not a fan of the guy.

Understandable Frizz as he sure isn't going to be everybody's cup of tea but from my personal view, I enjoy the non-political correctness of his retort to Hodgson as well as the wheelies and stoppies, good to see a little unscripted personality

Not sure if he has what it takes, still reserving judgement there but credit where due, he does seem to be enjoying himself

Nah... I'm only referring only to the "......-gate" storm in a tea-cup.

Oh sorry, when you typed NH I immediately thought of Haystacks, sorry man ............... after all, that other NH is long forgotten and past, like yesterdays dinner

Ah OK. I was too lazy to type his name...

I even heard Crutchlow speaking in glowing terms about Jack, even after he took him out at Silverstone. Oh, and Wayne Rainey also (although I think he was talking to Daryl Beattie).

I'm not an expert by any means but I thought the step change in his results and the way he was instantly comfortable leading races after he got a competitive ride in moto3 was pretty encouraging. It's like he already had the race craft and the instincts ready to go: just add water.

What do you think about short-circuiting moto2? It seems like a risk to me, particularly from a psychological point of view (although maybe that doesn't apply to him!). I also worry about the impact on developing technique, the three step method seems to work pretty well. A bit like when they teach you to ski...

Mind you, Stoner's build up was pretty ragged in that regard and he turned out ok.

He should stay away from the sweets. It tends to give you aussies really bad belly aches.

Said at the time and will say now that it was the right decision as Moto2 is only a transit lounge afterall in that it is for riders on the way up, or those that never will and so to go there for a year or two was wasted when he could be learning the big bikes from guys who have been around for years

The fact that his team contained Gabbarini says a lot for the way he is viewed within HRC and the situation change once Puig got involved show me further that the decision was correct

Yes he did not get top 10 results and so on, but he (to me anyway) showed at times that he is not out of his depth and whilst he did take Crutchlow out he was also in the top 5 on merit at the time.

I do think he needs to refine the riding edges a little more but he finished as the top Honda open bike so that is something and a positive that I am sure Honda will not ignore.

To me he is a work in progress but I suspect that it will not be long and HRC's faith will start to reap reqards (admittedly I also hope that to be the case as an Aussie)

Come on dubs, I mean, this guy is a bogan .......... surely you have to cut some slack and come up with something a bit 'today'

OK, thanks for explaining that.
Sure, there's got to be a learning curve and his attitude seems to be well set up for that.
You don't reckon they develop muscle memory and so on in moto2?

I have the feeling that maybe he has the X-factor. Here's hoping anyway...

I think he very much has the x-factor actually, but whether that can be translated in the manner needed to make him competitive with the top guys is yet to be seen.

I do believe that mentally he has the attitude and drive to succeed, he is hungry and determined and he has been reported to have improved his attitude to training throughout the year (thanks again Alberto) which should stand him in good stead next season

The real question though is will we see the mullet back next year or not?

My money is on the Mullhawke...

Like a chook crossed with a lizard.

Ah yeah, know what you mean ................ could actually see tat happening

Which reminds me, who wast he guy years ago raced in WSBK with a mohawk on his helmet ......... name escapes me ............ I say go that path Jack
