Ducati won it fair and square, Yamaha need to up their game for next year !

Don't like the Red Army Lin J., then get Yamaha to spend the money to field better bikes and riders, and quit whining !

Without Ducati involvement MotoGP would not be what it is today, Ducati rocks !

The 2023 season is gonna be a whole new ball game, cannot wait !!!

Ducati did win it fair and square, I don’t think anyone is disputing that. But having eight bikes on the grid is a huge advantage, especially when your bike is the best one out there.

It’s such a shame that Suzuki and Aprilia didn’t go with satellite teams so there could be six factory teams, six satellite teams and four bikes from each manufacturer.

One thing I would like to say is that the cost of competing in MotoGP could become more of an impediment in the future if other factories decide it is not worth the effort/expense. Was this the major factor, or at least a factor, for Suzuki bidding farewell; are there other factories pondering the same fate at some point if something is not done ?

I must say in closing that I am truly impressed by the European manufacturers and their progress, Ducati, Aprilia, KTM, who would have thought not so long ago that they could fare so well against the likes of Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki in the premier class !

Suzuki left because of the cost and the lack of sales generated from competing. Long gone are the days of ‘win on Sunday, sell on Monday’. Sport bikes don’t sell like they used to, with adventure and enduro bikes becoming increasingly popular. Suzuki are a much smaller company than Honda and Yamaha, so they can’t afford to keep throwing money at MotoGP etc. They haven’t been in WSBK in years and are pulling their endurance outfit. Not sure if they’ll keep supplying Hawk Racing for BSB. It’s such a shame to see them go again and I don’t think they’ll be back this time.

KTM are a huge brand and have big ties with Red Bull. It sounds like F1 are getting involved with them to work on aero. Aprilia will have two more bikes next season as well, which should help their development. Oliveira could be a star for them if he gels with the bike.

Ducati have thrown money at it and with eight bikes on the grid, they’ve stacked the deck in their favour.

I came just to say this:

"Ducati cannot afford to lose AD04. Big mistake" - Stoner, Casey - 2020.

This is the man who tested the GP17 bike and said: "It's championship material". When I confronted him with his own statement just after the aforementioned tweet, he made joke of me, got thousands of likes and everyone laughed at me.

Then I just needed the time to pass. Wish I had not my tweeter account banned cause of tweeter leftwing bias. I would destroy him now. Stoner is a lucky guy.

Stoner probably could have won on the 2017 Ducati, or earlier than that. Gigi thought so.

Sure, not only him but current Bagnaia version also could. My point was that Stoner had ridden GP17 and seen it was a title bike, but AD04 throw it all away (it was his best shot). So, we had a winning bike but ridden by a losing rider (with all due respect). Then it was clear for ages AD04 isn't any allien. What Ducati was missing since 2017 is a rider capable of winning many races in a row and not one who win a race and finish the next two in 10th-13th. That was the main reason Ducati took so long to win the rider's title back. When they finally seemed to found the rider, they sacked him (Lorenzo) and treated him like ..... Apparently, this episode caused many disagreement and discussion between Gigi and Domenicali. And it appears now they have finally learned this lesson.

🤣🤣 It has been 2 years dude...

Stoner has been one of the most talented rider in history, but he is a ......... and nothing can change that. The guy is stupid, dumb and an ..... with low IQ. So much so that Gigi dismissed him as a test rider. When he opens his mouth it smells pure .....

Ducati won it. Fabio did all he could with the package he had. Next year will most likely be just as difficult, even if Yamaha finds more speed. The young guns at Ducati have all improved, except for Digi. Marini has gotten much better and only had one DNF. Fabio will once again be the sole torch bearer for Yamaha in 2023.
