Been shopping for my new ride as I just sold my ZRX-1200r. I think I have it narrowed down to the KTM Duke or the Ducati Hypermotard. Does anyone have experience with either or both? I like to hear your thoughts on the purchase. BTW, I have a Duck and KTM dealer that are both relatively close and seem to be alright guys. Thanks in advance.

i've rode both....i liked the Hyper more....but wasn't about to pay $18,000 for it...
They both kick .......so i'd say get a Yamaha.

i like the duc more because of looks and there aint to many about where im from but i would more than likely go for the ktm because i hate pushing bikes and paying huge repair bills

Neither. Find yourself a used Honda cr500 2stroker beast for the dirt coupled with a used Honda CBR1000rr Repsol Edition for the asphalt and you're good to go.

I wish I was in your situation!!! If so, I'd be leaning to the KTM. It is more rare to come by.
I think the problem with the Ducati, is a small gas tank. Than again, that KTM has been known to chug the fuel. Not sure about the FI models.
