The modifications that Hayes' Honda are supposed to have had do not sound like ones that could have been overlooked or made by accident. But why cheat when they knew the winning bike would be subject to technical inspection? Its confusing to say the least. On the other hand, well done Chaz, lets hope this kicks off a strong season, i'd like to see him bring home a title
What the hell is going on at Honda? First Miguel Duhamel gets DQ'd because of a suspicious bike change (was his bike illegal?). Jake Zemke's pit crew screws up and puts him three laps back, Neil Hodgson runs off track twice and then his motor goes bang. I have a sneaking suspicion that that the Honda crew chiefs were trying to pull a fast one and realized that the game was up. Not the start to 2008 Honda was looking for.
I read an article that Neil Hodgson called Mat Mladin out saying that now that he has a factory ride that he would prevail.

bold statement indeed. though the way things are going at honda these days i doubt it very seriously. honda can't seem to get anything right.

Yeah. I didn't know inspection went to engine tear down.
