on sale from monday 19th march £45 for half a day £15entry to entertainment zone (wasn't that free last year?) and £30 for a morning or afternoon pass into the paddock.

To who ever this concerns and your reading this. THIS^^^^^^^^ is ....... extortionate! Why the .... does this country have to milk every possible penny from there fans who pay on the gate. At least make it DAY of champions and let fans have access for the day, just like they do in the rest of europe you robbing motherfuckers!!!!!

ps I have paddock access for silverstone so anyone with me can have an hour on mine we will see how many get to see the paddock on one pass. Oh but you will have an escort of one of our crew with you though
<
So .... you whoever set the ...... prices we aint paying!!!

Its a valid rant, Silverstone or whoever is responsible for this event really have milked it over the past few years. It seems a long time ago when I spent all day in the paddock at Donington for about £20 I think, maybe four years ago.

Cheers,

Yeah 2009 was the last time you got that deal!

Last time it was at donnington.

Didn't care in 2010 we couldn't get there till the pm on thursday, and last year as you know we didn't need the day of champions garb.

Last year there was no charge for the auction was there?

Can at least smuggle a few of peeps in there.

You going this year CaramaC?

A wonderful rant if I say so myself Philip !

I will certainly not be paying £30 - £45 for a Day of champions ticket. I do understand the benefits which go to charity, but its a rucking fipoff !

Come on, lets be a bit realistic and make it more affordable. Unless I been doing it wrong, its always been pretty ...... anyway. Just kept going because it was a good cause and because it was a day at the track for £20.

Agreed!

I think the thing that "grips my ...." more than anything else is the charge to the auction.

By all means a token donation to go in on the gate where the punter gives what he likes to the charity would be much easier to swallow.

I also used to go because it was £20 to what I think is a good cause, and it was a day.

This year I sponsored Tom for £20 for his run, (shame on those of you that have met him and not supported him) and the bonus is the VAT goes to them also so my £20 became £25

Like wise it is much harder getting to see the peeps you want on DOC because they don't want to get mobbed.

PS You do know the magic ticket gets you in on the thursday don't you.

Last year we went in an hour before the hoards were let in, had about 10mins chatting to Marco over Lemans. Precious memories.

I will be at both mate,

Gimmie a shout and we'll hook up for a beer or two

Have you been to Donington since it re opened?

What sort of state is the infield in these days?

Is the big grass bank still there that overlooks the craners/old hairpin area?

I haven't been since the last MotoGP.

.... Man!

You're in for a big suprise.

There is probs about a quater of what was there left.

The top side nearest the hospitality suites on the craner s's is as was.

The rest resembles a martian landscape (because of the red soil) cut out of what one of the best views for any race.

Broke my heart last year when was there for wsbk.

Suppose its something about your first GP been special and so is the track???

You going to be camping?
