Lo ha confermato poco fa Alex Crivillé, ex pilota e Campione del Mondo, uomo chiave Repsol e commentatore del motomondiale per la TV spagnola.



“Dani Pedrosa è partito stamane dall'aeroporto di Barcellona – ha detto il 2 volte iridato della 125 e 500 - e atterrerà domani a Kuala Lumpur. Confermo che sabato mattina proverà a correre”.



Una scelta importante che ha lasciato sgomenti un po' tutti gli operatori del settore, nei paddock di Sepang.



Pare infatti che il manager Alberto Puig sia stato più che insistente con lo spagnolo del Team Repsol HRC fresco di intervento chirurgico alla clavicola sinistra.





BASICALLY IT SAYS CRIVILLE SAYS DANI IS RACING THIS WEEKEND...IS ON THE PLANE AND WILL BE ON THE BIKE THIS SATURDAY...CRAZY.



WHAT IS THE POINT WHEN HE JUST HAD A PLAQUE PLACED ON HIS COLLARBONE WHICH FRACTURED IN 3 DIFFERENT PLACES. I ADMIRE THESE GUYS BUT ALSO THINK THERE IS NOOOO WAY HE WILL BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT. AH THE ARTICLE ALSO SAYS IT SEEMS PUIG IS THE ONE WHO REALLY INSISTED DANI RACE. FIGURES... PUIG IS AN ........

I don't think anyone needs proof of what a tough ....... dani is; I think he raced soon after beaking both legs in the 250s. I guess he could turn up and see how he feels on the bike; I think he did this once before with a previous injury then withdrew from the race when he could not ride competitive times
 
Just had a press release stating Pedrosa is definitely NOT racing this weekend. Interesting...

BBC sport also saying Dani will miss the Malaysian gp. This means Lorenzo only needs to finish in the top 10 to be crowned champion.
 
The championship's over already, whether Dani races or not, there's no point of him racing. He's better off at home in bed, resting that is.

I am led to believe riders have raced in 250 races this soon after having single clean collar bone /clavicular fractures internally fixed. A comminuted compound fracture did seem a bridge too far, but little that these guys can achieve physically surprises me now.

Sounds like he had a decent plate of titanium put in there so I guess he's looking at an early return, but surely even Sepang is way too early.

No probs Rog, just spend all ya dosh on Hookers first they cant take that away. Better still go to Vegas they are everywhere, its the biggest .... palace im ever likely to come accross!
