No. You're right. Just going by all his quotes in interviews (his own words and reactions) and mannerisms on/off track where the public is privi. Yes, that's very limited but then again, he's made some spectacular comments and displays.

Pretty much goes for any rider, right? I don't have beers with Rossi or Hayden to know I'd probably enjoy it.

But one day he came to visit and we are forum BFFs now. So if you are fighting with me now then there is a good chance I would love to have a beer with you as it would make for a lovely discussion (though you'd probably be wrong on all points)

He doesn't cast the best of light in the public arena, which is fair game. But that doesn't preclude him from being a guy that you wouldn't have beers with. For all we know, he might be a bit friendlier in his private life away from the glare of the MotoGP paddock.

Who hasn't worked with personalities at work that were toxic? I mean I have worked with some complete dicks at work, but some of them are married and have kids. So they probably do have some warmth to them that they don't exhibit at their work (public life), but in their personal life towards their families/friends.
