just read the head lines on Motogp that Pedrosa has a knee injury. Just seen the video clip.. Oh looks nasty, high sided.
This plays right into Rossi's hands.

Watched back end of practice. Nasty! bike was a heap. He walked away though thankfully.

Where was Hayden? AGAIN!!!! KRJR 3rd................if he qualifies 3rd he could win from there

Capirossi looked quite happy with himself and not on qualifiers, good job!!!.

From Marca
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>. The Spanish pilot suffers a strong abrasion in the right knee and a wound that he specified of five suture points that it will take during at least two weeks, besides suffering substance loss in the mentioned articulation, for what is doubt for the race. As he explained one of the doctors that assisted him, Italian Claudio Macchiagodena, the decision will take "the pilot". "From our point of view, there is fifty percent of possibilities that it can participate in the race, and he would never make it under the best conditions possible", he said.

In my opinion the awkward location of the injury means that he has limited movement.

<<“We were using the new chassis that we tested on the two days after the Brno race,” Hayden said. “It worked really well there, but hasn’t helped us so much here. Also the clutch issue has come back a little bit today.”>>

That might explain the poor performance of Hayden

More on Pedrosa...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>The young Spaniard injured his right knee and cut his left toe in a second session high-side. The official team press release said that his fitness to continue will be determined Saturday morning. But the MotoGP website said his participation in this weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix, and even at next week’s Australian GP, has “been cast into serious doubt.”

Pedrosa ended with the second fastest time, despite his high-side. He described the crash as starting with “a small slide from the front tire and the bike dropped a little which made my right knee hit the curb. I’m pretty sure it’s this impact that caused my injury. I can remember the whole crash, which is a good I suppose, and I was able to walk away, although it was quite painful. We’ll see how it feels tomorrow and decide if I can take part in the morning session – I really hope so.”

I do feel for him. Does he really need that little plaster! Give him a lollipop he will feel better after that - worked for me

poor kid..To do that well in your first season only to have it derailed this way.
Well the championship is Nicky's to lose. I want Nicky to win but it's not looking good for him.

im watching the live timing for fp3 and he is about 5 secs off the pace.. waiting to see what they say after the session. Hope he races cause he is quick here (and everywhere else)

I love how it sounds.

Pedrosa, take those damn good long holidays now, mate, you deserve them.

Rossi, your turn now to finish the business. Be brutal, be nasty.

Listen, Dani's tough, I don't think he'll be any slower in the race, patch up that thing and get on with it. Rossi is one guy who won't be counting him out. He was lucky to get away with a flesh wound. I know a guy who did the same thing and shattered his pelvis.

how does dani usually cope in the wet? ... from what i remember that kid needs a life vest, flippers and floaties ... he doesn't cope too well .... but my memory is ....? ... anyone fill me in?
