I can't imagine even for a second that this story is true. It's simply impossible.

Nice white Dainese outfit. Very smart. Not a scuff to be seen. I suppose it's hard to scuff it driving a car

Well sure, but perhaps not in this case. I would have paid a great sum to have been witness to that. Brilliant!

Let me know your UK schedule and come stay with me. We can head up to Oulton for BSB and Mr Dainese may be there in the flesh !!!!

Willski is absolutely telling the truth.  In fact, he sent me a picture.

Its obviously some racer, but we will never know who, since Willski was only able to take a pic as the mystery man was leaving the car park.

Weird.. What's that weird descendant line in this diagram between freeBSD and osx ?

And no I've never owned a Mac laptop.. Still waiting for a good reason.. my guess is apple goes under again before I find a use for their laptops.. Ive fixed them.. I've played with them for a few weeks.. So I'm not unfamiliar.. The flip side to your fan boy comment.. I'm not an Apple hater.. Just a realist that realizes

There is no true upside to owning their products other than the styling,.. Which I'd admit is really well done.. Hardware is very respectable.. The rest is gimmick.. Oh, and if you bring out a macbook in a room full of people that know .... about computers, you're instantly the coolest guy in the room.. I don't need any help there chief.. Maybe you do.. Enjoy!

Yeah, fanboy. Apple laptop, Samsung Android phone, NT server, Unix server (Sun), Linux Server (Debian), multiple Raspberry Pi appliances, Android tablet - and that's just inside the house. There's more .... in the workshop...

Yep, the very epitome of an Apple fanboy.

And no, no burning desire to be the coolest guy in the room, 38 years of mainframe/server engineering has made me inured to all these willy-waving exercises.

Enjoy your superiority while it lasts.

I would have loved to have seen that.

Closest is the guys trailering their BMW GSs from Melbourne to the house at Phillip Island across from ours. So they can ride the 3km to the track in their full "Longest way down" gear, stanfing on the footpegs and all.

Not just in Oz. We (the wife and I) did a round-Europe holiday - about  8,000km or so - and when we were in Switzerland, this bike transporter turned up at our hotel, unloaded a bunch of bikes and gear, followed by a fleet of mercs, beemers, porches. The next morning at breakfast we were inundated with Germans in their designer leathers and carbon lids, etc. with their bints in their leather dungarees and white cashmere turtlenecks, loading up on breakfast prior to their ride.

Our scummy, fly-spattered, K1200 just drew disparaging looks as we pissed off on the next leg of the journey... No doubt those guys had fun, but I'm afraid it's not my idea of biking.

At last the explanation for the of mystery 'rider' at Oulton - more of an enigma than the Furstnhoff/Karslon Ghost Rider identity debate. This is genius and had to be reposted in case he does genuinely have Jum on ignore.

He's also rumoured to be planning an aggressive takeover of 'BKS'

Might as well face it. We're not moving up to your level; you need to come down to ours.

I am trying but the level keeps dropping lower and lower every time I visit it seems :p

I suspect there must be some causal relation...

I'm going to regret this, I know I am but, go on then Stiefel explain it to me. Explain how it's my fault.

I can't wait to read that

As a man who has no bike licence and a man who has never ridden a motorcycle, I can understand the urge to purchase motorcycle related parafenalia....I often spent time looking at the Shoei helmets on sale at the track and think I am gonna buy one of those farkers.....

Then I think I would PROBABLY look a bit of a prick driving my car in it. Or taking a bath in it....

Impressive list of hardware.  And more in the shed?  Undoubtedly where you keep your thousands of motorcycle...

Lol if you bothered to read my post.. I didn't call you a fan boy.. You yourself said you weren't.. I was responding to that and giving the flip side.. Saying I'm no Apple hater.. I like their .... just don't tell me it's inherently better.. Btw.. You got thousands of motorcycles in the workshop? Nice!
