I was never a fan of enoying Nick Harris.

But after he asked Dani completely irrelevant questions about his back to back wins he really showed disrespect to Tomizawa and all riders for that matter.

So I wrote him a poem:

Old man retire,

no shananagans, take it to the wire.

And make it stick!

What else was the guy supposed to do? He's simply trying to do his best to carry on with his job. Harris is part of the Moto GP scene and was likely more hurt by the accident than any of us on the forum. In reading the post-race transcripts of riders' comments, I think due respect was shown to the deceased.

Indignation must be a good coping strategy...

Agreed, and this thread is petty rubbish. Harris and the entire press core were great in the post race conference, and one can only imagine how difficult it is to carry on with the job in those circumstances.

Yes rubbish thread. Nick Harris is a good man. Im sure everbody had heavy hearts. People go on. Last week when Peter Lentz died Colin Edwards raced despite being a type of mentor to the young man. I think he honored him by racing rather than sitting out. (My only regret about Indy is they celebrated with the bubbly on podium which i thot was poor). My point is we honor the fallen by participating in the very passion they themselve lived for.

And you could tell he was a wreck when he couldn't finish the race. I hadn't heard about the crash at the time and thought it was odd that Colin was that emotional about not finishing.

first of all nick harris did not do the interview after the race... it was gavin emmett.
