Spot on Rog, SuperShinya56 and Co. are showing just how little they understand the sport

I was just having a dig at all those that clamed Edwards did all the hard work, and allthough they have similar riding style they prefer their tires quite defferently.
Fair enough, we're seeing eye to eye on this one.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (SuperShinya56 @ Sep 7 2008, 04:30 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>If that's the case then he should be relagated to testing instead of racing. So essentially you want a grid of Rossi, Lorenzo, Hayden, Pedrosa, Stoner, Melandri, Vermeulen, Capirossi and Elias and no one else? Because those are the only riders on grid to have won a MotoGP race. Nine riders. And no Shinya.

What you mean like shinya is essentially doing for the pedrobot and his new stones??

I bet anywhere Rossi will go, his team mates will be in his shadow. That is just how life is. He is the most capable of winning (and superstar and so on...) and he will be in the hot spot of any team.
Good thing for Yamaha to have 2 bikes on the last podium, so Lorenzo is not just a second-hand driver with second-hand equipment from Yamaha's point of view.

OH, and I belive Lorenzo will charge Rossi at Inty ... just a feeling there will be a Yam 1-2 again on the podium.

Believe me... when Rossi heard that Jorge Lorenzo was going to be his teammate, he nearly .... in his pants. Rossi knows that Lorenzo can bring it to him, but sucks that Lorenzo is struggling so much... not because he isn't fast enough, but mentally he's not ready yet. If only he had more fans to back him up and support him.., that's how Rossi did his thing, the fans helped him alot.

But... Jorge Lorenzo is slowly but surely getting people's respect, cuz it seems like he's been humbled now ever since he got into MotoGP, different from the cocky kid from 250cc.

Believe you...how would you know?

The fans helped Rossi a lot? Lorenzo is not at the level of Rossi because he is not there mentally, and does not have the fansbase? I disagree buddy.

Rossi with or without the fans would have had the same career. Fans tend to come as one grows as a rider, wins, whatever. Lorenzo is there, he is th in points in a rookie season...not many can say they've done the same. He is already there...amonst the best. Don't forget he's a Moto GP race winner...not many can say that...

Stick to Nakano...the one milking Moto gp instead of giving room to a young and hungry rider...

Rossi weren't helped by his fanbase. Obviously Graziano had his contacts all they way so it was Dorna that helped Rossi, right Lex? Or maybe it was his time of birth and the star constellation, yes, must have been that.
And right, Lorenzo have no fan base. Just about 10 times as manny fans as pedrobot got on this forum, but then again Pedrobot is the slowest of all, so that make sense. no fans no speed.

Lorenzo probably got more fans than Pedrosa even in spain in his rookie year. Yeah, Lorenzo got no fans poor guy.

what a complete waste of bandwidth. Rossi is fast becuase of his fans

SS56 I had some sympathy for you dude. You know you're out there on the 99th percentile of the bell curve but I kinda liked your guts... But "Believe me... when Rossi heard that Jorge Lorenzo was going to be his teammate, he nearly .... in his pants." is gonna go down in post history.

Kinda think you're the one with the deep inhalation problem... got some really good wheel chair for ya when you're ready...

I think that's probably pretty likely.

Rossi was perfectly content to have Edwards as his personal slave. It's not like Rossi is about giving out championship winning equipment, is he? If I remember correctly he left Honda when they gave "his" bike to other people. Yamaha satellite teams have never had decent equipment until this year.

I bet Lorenzo made him a little bit nervous. Better go get a set of Stones just for you, Vale.

He has really tarnished himself lately, hasn't he?

No, hes justified last seasons bitching that he needed Bridgestones to win by getting them and doing just that ,the difference between biaggis whining (which you seem to like to compare Valentinos with) is that valentinos delivered after the babys got his bottle whereas max never did.full factory HRC ride in 2005 went well for max didnt it
